My Husband, Eric

Father in the name of Jesus I ask that you would save my husband. I pray that You would give him an urgent desire to seak spiritual truth. I ask that You would remove anything at all that is blocking his ability to see the truth. Jesus, you came to set the captives free, and Lord I ask that you would have mercy and set my husband free from whatever is holding him back. Lord, I pray that You would cause his conscience to burn with conviction so that the only way for him to turn is to You. Holy Spirit, please begin to woo and draw him to You, and put him into the path of righteous God fearing born again on fire believers who will share their faith with him and pray for him along with me.

Amen.

Brothers and sisters please agree with me. He is a good husband, a moral man... but needs Jesus just the same.

In the name of Jesus I pray 2 Corinthians 10:5 over my husband, Eric standing in the gap for him. In the name of Jesus I cast down every argument, theory and reasoning and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and I lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One.)

In the name of Jesus I bind the enemy and rebuke him for any wiles and tricks and lies that have been told to my husband. I slam any doors that are open to the enemy and declare that he has no place in my house or in the life of my husband, and on every door post I put the blood of the Lamb by faith. Father I ask in the name of Jesus that you would flood his heart and mind with light and truth, and that you would bring him to the saving faith and knowledge of Jesus Christ. I pray that he would be saved and perpetually on fire for you forever.

Dear Heavenly Father, I stand in agreement over this prayer request and ask for divine intervention in the life of Eric and that You will use Heidi his wife to be an instrument in his hand and example to him and she will be given the things she should say and the things she should do for his sake. I pray that his heart may be drawn out and he will began to feel the searching, needing desire within himself for something greater. I pray for a way into his heart, that he may be pricked with desire to come unto his Savior and accept Him truly into his heart, mind and soul. I pray for a miracle in Eric's life and pray in agreement with his wife over this prayer request, I ask in Jesus Holy name amen.

Tonight when I was out to supper with Eric, he was asking lots of questions. Specifically he was asking about my cousin who just accepted Jesus as her Savior... but it gave me the opportunity to share the gospel with him. He was brought up catholic, so he already mentally understands that Jesus lived... but I explained to him that he needs to take the step of praying and accepting the gift of salvation that Jesus provided. Well, he said that he believes, but stopped short of being willing to pray and accept Jesus' gift. I believe that our prayers are being heard, and that the Holy Spirit is working in Eric's heart. Please, please, please brothers and sisters continue to pray for Eric's salvation.

Father in heaven I come before you in the name of Jesus... desperate for you to save my husband. Father I believe that when Eric and I had the conversation at dinner tonight, that You were there. Lord, I did what You asked me to do... for You gave me an opportunity to share the gospel clearly, and I did. I ask You now to work in Eric's heart according to Your will. I ask Lord, that You would continue to convict him of his sin. I pray that You would put an insatiable desire in his heart for that fresh start with You that I told him he could have. I ask that You would continue to draw him and woo him to You and to the saving faith in Jesus. I pray that along with the faith that he already has that Jesus existed, I ask that he would accept the gift of salvation that Jesus died to give him in prayer. Father, continue to remind him that You are a gentleman, and that he must ASK to recieve Jesus. I pray that You would keep his mind circling around this need, and so he would not be able to rest until he has asked You for salvation in Jesus. And Father, just for me... I ask that he would tell me after he prays, so that I can know in my heart that You did it and praise You for it... and so I can tell of Your work to all of my fine brothers and sisters who have been praying along with me. Father, all this I ask You boldly in the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, I praise Thy name for the things that You are preparing to do in Eric's life and the ways and means that You are beginning to work. I pray that this interest will continue to grow and take root and You will open and prepare the way and give direction and support according to every need. Continue to work through Heidi and give her all the inspiration and power of discernment in her daily life, as wife and friend and example to her husband in those things you would have her say and do. I pray for divine intervention in eric life and ask in Jesus Holy name amen.

I am going to keep on praying and keep on praying and keep on praying until my husband is saved! I'm not going to give up.

Father I know that it is your will that every human being on this planet would believe and be saved. I know that those of us who do believe have been chosen by you. Father, in your mercy... pleace choose Eric. Please continue to draw him closer. Show him that he needs a savior. Help him with his unbelief and teach him how to believe. Put in his heart a deep desire for you. Help him understand that he needs to be born again... not just have a passive understanding that Jesus lived on Earth 2000 years ago. I pray that the conversation that we had last week would stick in his mind, and that he would think about it and continually remember it. I ask that those words would sink in and make sense to him in his heart... and that he would pray to be born again. I also ask a personal favor, Lord... that when he prays, he would tell me that he did it, so I can rest and know that you've saved him. Father I believe that you will do it... protect him from mortal harm until you do. In Jesus' name I ask all this, Amen.

Please keep knocking until he opens up the door to his heart. Father, if knocking doesn't work, try the doorbell... try reaching him any way you can. I ask that you would have mercy on him and bring into Your flock. Father, please protect him from harm until you have saved him, and I trust that you will not allow him to die in his current state, but only after he has been sealed by you. Thank you for always listening to my prayers, and I believe that you will do it according to your will. In Jesus' name I ask. Amen

Father I am still standing as intercessor and in prayer agreement for Eric's life. Bring him into the fold. I stand for this prayer of his wife Heidi. I pray in Jesus Holy name amen.
