Dear Ministry Leaders
Let me take a minute to introduce ourselves. Our names are Pastors Loren and Esther Dummer, Gateway Worship Center (A/G), of Clatskanie, Oregon. We are always interested in seeing what God is doing in other parts of our nation. We pastor a church that has been pursuing God for revival in the Pacific Northwest for almost 4 years now. God has given a definite vision and call to each of us, my husband and I, as it relates to the greater call over our region. We share in the burdens and call of each other and minister together in the church here. God is doing a deep and abiding work in the lives of all of us. We believe Him for the promises as a last day church getting ready to step forward into Divine Destiny and Revival. He has laid a corporate call upon the church here to pray until a spiritual awakening hits the Pacific Northwest.
You will better understand the heart of my husband and me even more as you may have heard of the "Pacific Northwest Prayer Effort - 1998" that was held in Scappoose, Oregon at the First Assembly of God (my parents church) on October 2nd and followed by staking the top four counties of Oregon on the October 3rd. The Lord showed my husband a vision of these four counties and also the center point where they all meet. We drew together pastors from each of the four counties for this staking and intercessory prayer gathering. There were a couple of preplanning meetings that were held,( after the initial one here in our home with the first pastoral contact) at the common ground of the church in Scappoose. We called for headship from each of those counties, prayed together and planned the dates. Each head then went back to their counties and drew the churches and intercessors together. They each chose the place to drive their own stake in their county. Then we all met together for the meeting on October 2nd, 1998 and sent delegates from each county, (Columbia, Clatsop, Tillamook & Washington) to the center of the four counties to come into agreement for this area of Oregon. We also had intercessors at the four corners of each county at the same time, 12:00 Noon. The four counties came into an agreement and declared revival will come to this area. The shofars were blown from those 5 points as declaration was made. ( The vision and words can be viewed from the staking and prayer gathering by clicking here: Pastors Vision) We also had others who assisted in using their email lists to get the word out and covering the event.
This is the two year anniversary of that intercessory gathering and staking service. The Lord has spoke into my heart that this gathering, which will occur at the "Going Up to High Places VI", as listed in this mailing, will be known as:
"The Pacific Northwest Prayer Breakthrough - 2000"
The reason that I am writing has to do with the event that is coming up here in Clatskanie. This is the 6th of such gatherings called "Going Up to High Places. The Lord birthed this ministry at the end of 1997. We have two of these a year with pastors, ministry leaders of all types and intercessory prayer groups who come from here and there. It is growing all the time as the news of what God is doing through this ministry spreads. It is for the purpose of networking pastors, intercessors, and the Body of Christ together for the purpose of equipping, training and anointing to go back to their individual communities with a greater call and purpose to continue in the sometimes lonely struggle to see a breakthrough in their churches and communities. Many of the churches, pastors and intercessors that we minister to are from small towns with small churches, although we do have those who come from larger ministries. Our heart has specifically been burdened for those who feel alone as much of our area has a lot of little towns and churches. We feel that the small, out of the way places are significant to what God is getting ready to do. We have seen some really awesome transformations in people's lives as they return time after time to refresh the call and anointing and giftings as well as mobilizing them into the continued battle.

God has laid this burden on our hearts, but we are very aware that it will only work as a Power of Agreement is reached by the participation of intercessors and leaders all over this region. The Lord has given a definite plan so that everyone is significant to what God is getting ready to do.
We believe that this is going to be an act of agreement that is going to shake the spiritual thrones of the Northwest region. We are also asking ministries all over the world to participate by intercession and the blowing of the shofar with warfare prayer and high praise during this gathering. We are asking that whatever the Lord has gifted the ministry with as a specific call, such as prophetic, apostolic, healing, warfare, worship, etc...be proclaimed over this region as an imparted blessing of proclamation and declaration. Will you please help us "Prepare the Way of the Lord" that He may come in? We here in this part of our nation are in desperate need of revival in our land. God has promised much and many are believing for all that He has promised, but we need intercession on our behalf.
I want to say that I know that we are just a piece of a huge puzzle that God has placed the pieces in. We deeply appreciate what God is calling everyone to do as they each obey His call upon their lives. We do not feel that there is one ministry greater than another, simply because of the outreach area or style, but only remains viable to God as each obeys their call and respects others call and placement by the Hand of God.
Will you please write to us here at this address and tell us that you will participate by mobilizing prayer warriors in your area, as many believers as you can and that you will set aside a season to intercede specifically on the dates, Wednesday, October 25th through Saturday, October 28th for the churches, leaders and a spiritual awakening in our communities here in the Pacific Northwest? . It is a strategic time in the history of the Northwest. God has been speaking and we are listening.
