The Rapture

I'm curious about the rapture.
As you know nobody is perfect.

But Christ died so that his work in us can finish and we may become perfect.

But say the rapture happens, and we haven't repented about a bad attitude the other day, will we be excluded from the rapture?

I do believe in Pre-Tribulation Rapture, possibly Mid-Trib, but not Post-Tribulation .. Basing it primarily on this verse:

Revelations 3:10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.

Thoughts about Rapture?

Well, that Scripture, plus Rev. 4:_ where John is called- "come up hither", the Scripture of Christ declaring the antichrist- man of perdition, shall appear then the Rapture will happen among others are reasons why the majority of the Christian Community teaches in "PreTrib" Rapture.

Notice also in Revelation, there is no other relating to the "Church"- "Body of Christ", being on earth after John's call to "come up hither", but rather all pictures of the Church are now of them in Heaven.

Will those with unrepented of sins still hear christ's call and go in the Rapture? Jesus declares several aspects about this situation and event.

1- We are to keep our eyes and ears open to watcvhing for the signs that His return is near. God even provides a reward of this for those who do- "watcher's crown".

2- Christ declares that those who know Him. will recognize and follow His voice.

3- There are those who will some day, fall away from the faith in the "last days".

4- God declares #3 above as well as including those who will fall to heeding to doctrines of demons and goint to and fro following false doctrines, as waves of the sea, etc.

So, we can realize, those who stay steadfast in reading and staying to God's Word, believing in God and Christ, shall hear His voice and be included in the Rapture.

It seems quite clear tho, those who get caught up in chasing after worldly beliefs, treasures, ways, etc more than god, will not hear the call, even if belong to god, for neither thier heart nor mind at that time will be trained on them for the future events to unfold as God declares. Why?

Check out the statistics out most recently about the numbers of God's Children who've left christianity for some form of worldly ways, including many a satanic method involved with. (This includes getting into Cults and occult practices).

God declares in Corinths. that His children who are still corrupt, must take on incorruption, sinful must take on sinlessness, etc at this- "Rapture" event. That the dead in Christ shall rise first, then those who are alive shall be caught up with them to be with Christ and God forever.

But, it will be those who are not necessarily watching for Christ's return but surely reading and trying to follow God's Word and seeking His guidance, thus open to hearing the call of christ and the trumpet sound as well as the voice of Micheal the Arc Angel. (Found in Thess.).

According to how you described the sin situation, I do not believe a person would be refused or rejected as God's Child to hearing the call and being in the Rapture.

You'll find, most Scriptures about the Trib. Period, relate to unsaved or totally back slidden Christians who've left God and Christ on thier own accord before.

Thess. 6:4-6 shows Paul speaking of Hebrew Jews who had originally stopped animal sacrificing to start following Jesus for a time, but then turn back to animal sacrificing, which then put Christ to an open shame and removed all chance of thier being covered under Salvation once rejected It, even under enlightenment of the Holy spirit.

This is one set of scriptures that prove a person, even tho saved and reborn, can turn away from god on thier own, to lose salvation and be lost to satan, as God declares He will give them chastisements and other "wake up calls" to come back. If refuse and harden thier heart, He leaves them to satan and premature death.

See also the story of Old Test about King Saul who, tho belonged to God and knew God's Word well, was warned by God, yet refused to listen and followed a worldly lusting, was chastized, then died prematurely in his sin as a result.

Know for sure he was not considered as belonging to God, as the listing of Old Test Leaders God's New Test apostles spoke of, did not mention King Saul.

Hope this helps!! God Bless!!

BTW- I just ran across a Christian website just yesturday that proclaims the gospel, but preaches against a belief in the rapture at all.

Thus, some Christian religions preach Pre-Trib rapture- before the Trib Period. Some preach the Rapture in the midst of the Trib Period, while others preach it after. To add to that, some don't believe in the Rapture at all.

I will post the lesson I used to teach over the years about the Rapture, showing how Scriptures are to be understood better, so there is less confusion.

God bless!!
