I had posted a few weeks ago about a friend having surgery...here is her update.
Melissa
Hi Everyone! Well, this may be the final chapter in this saga! The title? "All is Well" I went for a chest xray yesterday and the dr said it was "beautiful". The tumor is completely gone, the lung has filled in where it was indented (for lack of a med term) by the tumor and my diaphram is working perfectly. It really was amazing to see it gone, realizing how tight a spot the tumor was in and how many essential things--aorta, lung, spine--were within less than a quarter of an inch. It was truly a miraculous outcome. I do have some residual nerve pain in my left arm--kind of like a funny bone sensation--from my shoulder to my fingers. He doesn't think it is anything permanent and I have to go back in 2 weeks just to check it again. Medication has helped but I am no fan of drugs that make me stare into space so I'm trying to wean myself from them. Ibuprophen seems to relieve most of it.
So--another thank you, thank you, thank you--for all your prayers, support by way of meals, cleaning, vacuuming and just your general calling to check in. You all mean more to me than you will ever know. We can truly say we have seen God move among us!
Please keep praying for the Dr. I sense he still doesn't know what to do with God. I'll see him once again--and see if any opportunity presents itself to bring it up. He's very nice but very reserved. That would require ME to say something! Pray I know if and what!
In His Service,
Anita

Dear Father in Heaven, I give You all the praise, the honor and the glory in this praise report and healing of Anita's tumor. I pray that she would continue to heal and have a chance to witness to the doctor about the great miracle she has received. Prepare his heart to receive the witness, I pray in Jesus Holy name amen.
