Nightmare

This is the second poem to emerge from young Miriam Bawah in Ghana,
as from a modern day Jeremiah or Daniel. (See original poem, attatched). It is strangely
fitting that I've only today received her loving permission to share this, as the world's Jews
and those of us identifying with them humble ourselves with tears this day of Yom Kippur.
In light of the Light she has seen, my fear concerning some of your reactions simply pales.
And now, from Miriam:
One night I sat and thought, "How will the end be? If I die, will I live forever in heaven or hell?"
If unsaved people were to know their future, they might be shocked and crying. For after death,
there is only the judgement. And Jesus is our only Savior, the only Lamb of God, the promised Messiah.
I thank Almighty God I know Him. What is left for me to do is to bring those in darkness to know Jesus
Chris/Yeshua Ha Maschiach, "God (G-d) with us". How will I do this? I asked Him to show me the way.
Then, these words came to me. There is one particular song in our language that I thought of as I wrote.
It is called, "IF YOU WERE TO KNOW YOUR FUTURE". I hope that this helps, for I have seen it in
my spirit, and it frightens me for others:
NIGHTMARE
I'm standing in this room; I see the heavenly gate...
Oh no, I never prayed. I thought I had time to get it straight.
An angel walked to me; He had a book in his hand.
I knew it was the Book of Life; when would this bad dream end?
I told Him my name. He looked. I feared.
Then he gazed at me sadly: "Your name is not here".
"Angel, this is a dream; no, I cannot be dead!"
He closed the book and turned, saying, "You cannot proceed ahead".
"No...no, this can't be real; Angel, you can't turn me away.
Let me talk to God. Maybe He'll let me stay!"
He led me to the gate. Jesus came to me.
He did not let me in, but said, "Beloved, what is your need?"
"Jesus," I cried, "Please, don't cast me away from You!"
Tears ran down His face as He said, "You knew what you needed to do".
"Lord, please, I'm young. I never thought I would die...
I thought I'd have plenty of time. Death caught me by surprise.
"Lord, I went to church. Please, Jesus, I believe!"
He said, "You would not accept Me; My love you would not receive."
"Lord, there were too many hypocrites. They weren't being true."
He took a step back and asked, "What does that have to do with you?"
"Lord, my family claimed to be saved, but they weren't real; You know."
He said, "I died for you. You turned and turned and turned from Me. I have to go."
I fell to my knees, crying to Him, "Lord, I planned to be real tomorrow."
I couldn't make Him understand; I had never felt such sorrow.
Then it hit me hard. I said, "Lord, where will I go?"
He looked into my eyes and said, "My child, you already know."
Please, Jesus," I begged, "The place is so hot!"
It seemed to trouble and grieve him, yet He sighed,
"DEPART FROM ME, I KNOW YOU NOT."
"Lord, you're supposed to be Love. How can you send me to damnation?"
He replied, "With your mouth you said you loved Me,
but each day you rejected my salvation."
With that, in an instant, day turned into night.
I never knew such torture could be. Now, too late, I know the Bible is right.
If I can tell you anything,it's that hell has no age.
It is a place of torture, far from God, full of rage!
You know, I thought it was funny, a joke. But this one thing is true:
If you don't accept Jesus Christ, HELL IS WAITING FOR YOU!
So friend in this big world, wake up! Ask Him into your heart,
The choice is yours, just do your part!

Marksentme- was that you stating being concerned over our reactions to any of your friend's comments or poem?
It was beautiful. A tremendous message. What is there to be afraid of or concerned about. It's a wonderful Godly Truth filled message for the unsaved.
God bless!!

I received this as an email in its entirety, so I just copied and pasted it as I received it.
The amazing thing was that literally 15 minutes before I got this email, I was having a convo' with my friend who is a borderline non-believer about her belief that as long as we believe in God and follow some sort of religion, we're all OK and going to heaven. Her husband is an atheist, so she feels the need to sugar-coat the idea of eternity. They have 2 kids whom are not being raised with any sort of Bible-based spirituality. My friend likes to subscribe to that cafeteria-style religion..."I'll take a little of this, none of that, more of this, less of that, extra of that..."

Wow, what a powerful poem! Thank you for posting it MarkSentMe. It breaks my heart that so many of my family and friends are unsaved....they are much like your friend that you had a conversation with just before you received the poem...they say they believe in God however they are deceived into believing that as long as one believes in God and is "a good person" then they will go to heaven when they die. Their argument is that "God would not send anyone to hell unless that person was a murderer" etc etc. Over the years I have heard statements like this so many times, including from my husband and some close friends. I have cried many tears because I cannot get through to them, they become angry and say they dont want to talk about it. One friend even ended our friendship after I shared the message of the Gospel with her. She has had much sorrow and loss in her life and has become angry with God. I continue to pray for her as well as for all my unsaved family and friends though I must admit I do get very discouraged sometimes when it seems like nothing changes but I will continue praying as long as it takes!!
