Can Satan influence the weather?

Can Satan do such things? Could he create storms,lightnings or thunders for example?

God is the creator. All His creations--including Satan and the weather are subject to Him!
It is God that causes the seas to rise, the earth to quake, the winds to blow!
It is God that holds the span of the universe between His small finger and thumb!

I too have heart that Satan has boundries that he cannot cross. People who sin clearly give him power over them and become weaker and weaker to resist tempations the more they sin. But I agree with Bruce that the Lord is over the elements and they obey him. My husband believes that it is all just nature and the natural workings of the elements. Maybe sometimes it is that. Like whether it's going to rain or snow. Things happen in season. But then I guess the Lord created the earth and the conditions that we have here with the elements. He then made the seasons. I don't like to think that Satan has that kind of power.

Satan doesn't get a nod at our house for anything- good or bad!
Hurricanes, tornadoes, blizzards. God's work. Sometimes good people get caught up in it. Sometimes the faithful get caught up in it. It makes those of us who are not being directly affected sit up and take notice- life is short, get right with God.

Well, lets not restrictive here. It is best to know our adversary, as God declares, to be able to discern his deceptions. Remember what satan could do for miracles thru Judas of Ascariot. Identical ones to God. But, Jesus called Judas- "Diabolis"- translated means- "The devil in human flesh." Now, satan cannot "create" lightning, but can bring the weather to produce it.
Keep in mind as the others stated, satan cannot "create", but he can manipulate the weather. Documentations of the past prove he can manipulate most everything in this physical world.

I agree with Christian Commando, satan has power here... that cannot be denied, but he is not AND NEVER WILL BE the ultimate power. He is over-ruled by God all the time, and believer's prayers can be very instrumental in over-coming and over-riding satan's attacks and plans. God is ultimately in control.

I remember a minister saying that once he was planning an open air evangelisation and a huge storm was coming up. The cloud was directly moving into his direction. And then he said to Satan is he prevents this evangelisation and destroys his evangelisation tent he will ask God for a tent which is 10 times bigger and then the cloud dissolved! This would mean that Satan can control the weather.

Lets not get excited here now. Lets slow down alittle first. We need to clairify a few things to begin with.
1- God is creator of all things, thus He is in control of all things.
2- Satan, tho he is a fallen angel, God never says He took any of satan's abilities from him at explusion from Heaven or any other time.
3- Because satan is only angelic, he has no real power, but only abilities. Thus, while he cannot create a storm, he can manipulate the elements to develope a storm.
4- Remnant7 hit the nail on the head. Satan does have abilities that go beyond yours and mine, but, as she stated, God clearly shows He- God is the ultimate Power and satan is over-ruled by God any time.
