Please pray for those who misquote scriptures and misreperesent themselves.

Lord,
No matter where people are when they misquote you or whether they are doing it for their own personal gain or if they are doing because they don't realize what they are doing I ask you to stop anyone from being lost because of such actions. I ask you to open those eyes that they may see the truth and be set free. I ask you to protect our reputations as Christians from being smudged by those who claim to be this or that in the Christian Community and aren't Lord reveal the false teachers and free us from those who make the rest of us look like idiots. Lord, I watch this not only on T.V. but in my very family. Lord, show those who are acting unchristian while claiming to be yours the err of their ways. Father, this is the very sort of thing that keeps my daddy from the church. Lord, open eyes and hearts that they not be decieved and that the enemy not be able to use our fellow christian to destroy what we so clearly desire family and friend and co workers and just anyone we can run into to be saved.
