I dreamt that I was standing face to face with the Apostle Peter. He was in a linen tunic and we were in a place that was like what I would imagine Palastine would be like in Jesus' time. He did not speak to me in the dream. On the ground before him was a person who was either sick or dead. He reached down and healed the sick person then stood up and looked me right in the eye. With both hands he pointed at himself, and then pointed his fingers at me. Then I woke up.

The next day, at church our pastor spoke on being true disciples of Jesus as individuals doing the work of the Lord. I beleive that message was the confirmation that the dream is from the Lord. Thank God that He still speaks to us individuals! If any of you have any further insight, I would be glad to hear it.

Peter is wearing the Divine mantle of healing. The garment of Healing. His garments appeared as the light (Matt. 17:2); shining, exceeding white as snow, so as no fuller on earth can whiten them (Mark 9:3); and glistening (Luke 9:29). The dream may suggest that you have come face to face with your own healing. Perhaps, the dream suggest your involvement and work in the ministry of Healing. Perhaps, it might be your own healing. By being healed yourself or/and administrating and entering in the ministry of healing.

Thank you for your interpretation PMB. Your post confirmed my thoughts. I have long prayed for a gift of healing, because my compassion is so stirred for those suffering in their physical and spiritual bodies. During the message my pastor delivered on being true disciples... he announced that they would be assembling healing teams that would regularly minister following all Sunday morning services. I believe that dream was my cue from the Lord to pursue applying to be on the healing team and begin a ministry of praying for the sick in our congregation and beyond.

I also believe that the Lord has begun to develop a gift of discernment regarding medical diseases and their root causes. On several occasions I have correctly "guessed" a diagnosis before it was known. I believe that the Lord will use this so that I might have guidance to pray.

Thank You God that You will entrust me with such a gift to reach out to hurting people in such a real and practical way. Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray that I bear much fruit in all the gifts you give me. Amen.
