Our marriage is gasping for life. Please pray for us. Continued financial stress, and now stress from outside sources is strangling the life out of our marriage.

The only thing that can strangle life out of a marriage is not having God #1. If your eyes are on anything besides God (for instance, money), you will not be loving God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and your neighbor (mate) as yourself. You each as individuals need to have God as your #1 and your everything. Do not expect your mate to be something to you they can't. Your mate IS NOT your provider, remember that. GOD is your Provider. The only way for any marriage to be a success is for the INDIVIDUALS in the marriage to be healed, whole and complete in God. If there are holes in your soul, that you are expecting your mate to fill, it will not work. He or she can not. Fall in love with God, first and ALWAYS, that is your only hope to a marriage that will stay WHOLE.
I am praying for your healing and wholeness AS INDIVIDUALS in God. In Jesus Name, amen.
