Hundreds of Keys

Last night I had this dream: I was sitting at a table with my Daddy(in real life Daddy died on Dec 22, 1966..he was a preacher), and was waiting to preach. My suit was dark blue but my shoes were dusty, so I had to wipe the dust off right before I went to preach. I got my Bible in my hand as my name was called, and was asking the LORD to give me a message. As I strode to the pulpit, I passed a man in a policeman's uniform, and he was in charge of a five feet tall, two feet around cylinder filled with all types of keys. The LORD spoke to me and said preach on keys. As I approached the podium, I looked out across the crowd...some were sitting in chairs and others were sitting in their vehicles (like a drivein movie). Suddenly, the devil attacked me, and in my dream I was rebuking him in the name of Jesus. The man in charge of the keys was looking on, and he had several more of his "policemen" friends nearby.
I then started preaching. My message was..."See all those keys, each one represents the entrance to a person's heart. Jesus knows which key will unlock each heart. The key to my heart is little children. I can't stand to see them suffering and hurting." Compassion then began to well up in me, and I wept tears. The audience was looking on, and I sensed a great loving presence of Jesus. I then woke up.

The dream describes your compassion, your preparation, the power of preaching and the back lash of Satan. It describes your ability to penetrate the hearts of the people. But they have not all heeded the Gospel. 10But whenever you go into a town and they do not receive and accept and welcome you, go out into its streets and say, Luke 10:11 11Even the dust of your town that clings to our feet we are wiping off against you; yet know and understand this: the kingdom of God has come near you.
14But how are people to call upon Him Whom they have not believed [in Whom they have no faith, on Whom they have no reliance]? Wow! This dream is so powerful. It really blessed me. I shared it with my husband. Almost everyone carry keys.
I thought about putting a plastic inscibed cover on a key with "key to heart" as a remember for to ask God, "Show me whose heart You have givin me the keys for, today?"
As I was going through my day yesterday, I keep thinking about all those keys God has givin to you to pass out and thinking about that question.
Thanks for enlightening me to think Bigger God thoughts throughout the day!
Wondering if the policemen were God's agents or angels?
Are police usually helpers in dreams or can they represent something else?

Hello brother!
Wow, it appears as though the LORD is blessing, and comforting, you in this holiday season. A season that could potentially remind you of the grief of the passing of your dad.
Your dream starts out with you seated at a table with your dad - all kinds of spiritual symbolism there! Yet, it also refers to the table the LORD is preparing for you before your enemies. The fact that you had to dust off your shoes is a reminder to forgive those people/ministeries who did not receive you, and the anointing you carry in your life.
I almost feel as though there is a special revelatory anointing coming into your life to preach this sermon, and it's revelation about people - in regards to evangelizing.

This is very, very true of every church. Some will have there own little ministries, and others are just there sitting...
Then, after the revelation of the church attendees, the enemy attacks...typical.
The next part of your dream is very cool, the key to your heart, and the LORD's is the same thing. You both do not like to see (His) little children suffering. The LORD is showing you His compassion on His children, is the same as you feel for the little suffering children of this World. That is the key to the LORD's heart, and the key to equipping people to evangelize/minister God's word. The compassion you felt in the dream, is the same anointed compassion which will embolden, and burden, people to step beyond their own comfort zones to do the LORD's work!
I have missed reading your dreams - this one is no different - it's very unique!

[B]Hey Brother Bill, Good to see you back! Thanks for your solid (as always) insights on my dream...I see it the way you do...Yes, I always miss my dad at this time of the year..I was 14 when the Lord took him home on Dec 22 '66. I spent all that day working with him and I do thank the Lord that I have that as a precious memory.
