Are healings among muslims rare or do they also happen as often as among christians? And if so then are all these healings demonic?

As far as I know Muslims do not have a god that heals. Allah does not care about his followers.

Maybe it's not usual among muslims.
But there are also faith healers which can heal diseases with their stuff.

Frederik, the muslims do not worship the same God we worship. They worship Allah. Islam rejects the Biblical doctrines of the Trinity and the deity of Christ. Islam does not emphasize a PERSONAL relationship with their god and from what I have studied over the years, there are MANY differences between Christianity and Islam. Our God is Jehovah Rapha, the God who healeth! All true healing comes from God alone.

Frederick,

I actually tend to believe that Allah is similar to our God. He is in fact the God of the Jews, and they do embrace Jesus, but as the previous reply said, not as the Christ not as God. I also believe that while Mohammad brought many people into the worship of a single god, he was misguided, and not a true prophet. He told his people to create followers "by the sword". Thus the violence inherent in the religion. They are told that Jesus was a very nice man, and that "the people of the book" (Jews) are not to be trusted. Yet, they incorporate Jewish texts and follow the Law. It is close, but I feel it is a terrible distortion of the Truth, which is Love. God is Love. Maybe He used Mohammad to begin the process of their conversion, at least in the sense that they worship one God, who I think may well be Jehovah God, though I do not know God's mind, and will never claim to know His thoughts -- how dare I? I do know, and have known, several sincere and loving Muslim people. They pray several times a day. They believe in surrendering all to God (Islam means "surrender"). In fact, "god willing" is a common phrase -- I'll get this done, if God wills it; I'll see you later, if God wills it... They believe that God controls every aspect of their lives and plays a role in every single day of their lives. They will give you the shirt off their back and more, unto absolute poverty -- no kidding. They will gift you to death if you are friends. I really think it's important that we get to know them and reduce our anxiety. The average Muslim is not evil. They are, I believe, misguided. But, I do believe God sees when someone is sincere... who am I to question or state with absolute certainty, whom God will bestow with His grace?
God be with you,
Alynn

Sorry. I forgot to address the issue of healing among non-believers. I have to say this as someone who was a nonbeliever for many years, though I was saved and a sincere child of Christ until around age sixteen. There were absolutely times in my life as a non believer that God stepped in and saved/helped/healed me. And I knew it was Him, though I tried to deny him in word and deed. I belonged to Him, and he continued to keep his promises to me. As regards the Jews, read Romans 10-11. I read it last night. God keeps his promises to those he has marked as his own. Just as a good parent loves her vagrant child.

Perhaps God also shows his mercy from time to time to non believers. We cannot know the depths of His mystery or His Love. OR, perhaps in some of those cases, a Christian was kneeling in secret on behalf of the healed. I know I pray for strangers all the time -- quick simple prayers -- when I notice a need.

God Bless,
Alynn

I don't agree with you on this one.
First of all what do you mean with "similar"? Either Allah = Yahwe or he is not.
And Allah is not Yahwe. Allah has a real problem with the jews. Compare Allah and the God of the bible. Yahwe is a personal God. He seeks contact with the humans. He established his covenant with Abraham. And now take Allah. He's an idol and doesn't do anything at all. He only wants to be prayed to in the same manner every day. Allah gives and Allah takes, this means as a muslim you must not even ask for anything cause Allah does what he wants anyway. Being a muslim has to suck. All they can do is bow down and pray the same prayer every day, this has to be really annoying.
Also if you google for Allah & moon God you will find a lot of proof that Allah is the moon god. He's an idol. Everything which Mohammed did is unite all the different people which worshipped many hundred different idols to worship one idol, Allah.
Hope this helps.

As I said, I don't want to make a definitive statement regarding Allah. While I do personally suspect that Allah may be the God of Abraham, I think our God is likely very upset with the hateful bigotry aimed at Jews, and with statements such as that of the new Iranian president. I also think it is in God's power to bless individuals who believe themselves sincerely to be worshipping Him... Also He may grace them with an easy conversion to Christianity. I would say that I agree to disagree, but I'm not willing to take a stand on that one. It's in God's hands, and I am only a silly human with big ideas.

Allah IS NOTthe God of the Jews! If there is any power coming forth from the calling out of the name "Allah," it is demon power. There is only ONE God, the God of the Old and New Testement. God came down to earth in the form of Jesus to show us what the Father's heart was like. Before God visited the earth, he had to work thorugh The Law, which was a hard task master. He knew that the Jews could not live up to the standard of righteousness that He asked of them, so he sent them to wipe out the nations around them that would tempt them to sin. That is why the God of the Old Testement does not seem like the God of the new. But they are one and the same. When Moses was sent to deliver the Children of Israel from Pharoah, he was sent by "I AM." In the book of John, Jesus said "Before Abraham was I AM." Jesus IS the I AM. Jesus is God! Allah is not God; allah is the name of a demon.

I heard R.W. Shambach tell a story where he prayed for someone to get healed in the name of Allah. Of course nothing happened! People looked at Mr. Shambach like "Weren't you afriad the man would be healed?" R.W. said "Of course not!" But THEN, he prayed in the Name of Jesus.... and you know the rest! That was a group of Muslims who believed in Jesus as the true and living God!
