So Much Pain and Dissappointment

What do you do when you have been standing for the healing and restoration of your marriage and you have actually seen God moving in your situation......no indication of failure and then boom.....you find out that your spouse has married the other person? I am so bewildered and feel like I was attacked from the rear. Some have told me well, game over. I have a hard time believing that. I know the bible says if an unbeliver departs, let him leave, but what if your spouse is a beliver? What do you do then? I am in such a flux right now and can't quite find my footing in prayer.

Strange things have been happening in the last few weeks as well. I posted a prayer on this board asking for prayer for his eyes to come open to the truth of God's word and that this other person would come to know the Lord as well. One prayer was posted in response. I was going to thank that person and when I went to respond back, the thread mysteriously dissappeared. Then one day when I tried to call a prayer line, after completely stating my request and the prayer warrior saying, let's pray....the phone went dead. Then last week, I had some strange episodes in my sleep where in a dream I was praying the same thing, and this force pushed me back and something actually tried to twist my spine. This happened each time I fell back asleep.

If God were trying to tell me to stop praying, would he use scare tactics? The next day after the dream, I called him at work and that is when a co-worker told me that he was off on his honeymoon.

I can't put into words what I am feeling right now, but please pray for me and our children. They don't know yet, and he has not told us.....but please pray for us.

O dear Lord, please set this person free from attack! Please command Satan off of her at once! What has she done that has caused some evil force to lay a claim to her life? Please don't allow her prayers to be blocked anymore! Remove all hinderances to her prayers being heard. Please have your will and your way in this person's life. I ask of you desperately in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

I am so sorry you are going through this terrible pain and shock. It sounds like satan is going to great lenghts to keep you from praying about this situation with your marriage. i have had strange things like you described happen to me when praying about my marriage. and one day things can be going well and the next day a disaster. i believe this is satan using everything in his bag of tricks to prevent marriages from being restored.

Dear Lord, i ask that You intervene in this situation and that YOUR will be done. In Jesus' name I bind all evil plans and actions of the enemy in this woman's life and command satan to leave her and her family alone. Comfort her and her children and give them peace during this painful time. This i pray in Jesus' Holy name, amen.

Dear Jesus, I ask in Your HOly Name that Your cross be placed bewteen this wife and her chidlren and the evil one. Jesus, Iask for You to send You warrior angels to encamp this wife and her children with songs of deliverance and do not let the evil one snatch anything more form this family. Jesus, I ask in YOur HOly Name, that You would pour our Your Holy Spirit upon this wife and children and their home and give them peace and comfort and joy unto you and eachother. Jesus, protect their bonds, ordained by You as mother to child. Jesus, I ask in Your HOly Name that YOu would send a troubling spirit to this husband and this "strange Woman," and let them have no peace in their marriage, no satisfaction and let them be acutely aware and unable to to put away from them the sin they are in and that You pierce their hearts with Your Truth and they truly repent, divorce and the husband returns to his wife of his youth and repents unto You, Jesus the Saviour. Jesus, send this adultress to repentence and make her like "chaff in the wind' and blow her out of this family's life forever and have mercy and give her a heart to come to You and ask You for her husband.
Jesus, pls. comfort and console and give this wife Your Holy Spirit discernment and do not let her be deceived. Give her comfort, rest and strenghth and be a sword in the spirit between this strange woman and this husband.."what God hath joined together let no man put asunder," to cut all soul ties between this Strange woman and this husband. Jesus, bring what is in darkness between these two to Your light.
Jesus, I ask that You protect, guard the hearts and minds of all children i this circumstance and do not let them be a part of a parent's adultry. Jesus, give the left spouse Your mighty and effective wisdom, health and protection and guidance, and faith and trust to lovingly and successfully parent their children through this valley...let them be awesome and truthful and positive teachers and doers of Your word. Give the children soft hearts to You God and do not let satan steal their faith or belief in these circumstances and I ask that no weapon formed against any God ordained marriage can prosper and that what satan has meant for evil, that Jesus means for good and His Glory.
Pls. our out Your love to this family and provide for them in every way and keep them together as a family. Jesus, I ask that You be the Alpha and the Omega in this and all marriages. Let them be healed, cleansed, restored, redeemed to be alters to You Jesus. Thank You Lord.

Thank you for the prayers warriors. I feel so much lighter today. Still hurting, but just trying to release all the pain and dissappointment to the Lord. He still has not called us/informed us and his family is completely in the dark. Very strange behavior. I receive and agree with the prayers posted and I ask that you continue to pray for this evil influence be broken. Satan's plans will come to nought in the name of Jesus. God is faithful, he is keeping going for the kids and at work. It is only by HIS might that I am able to stand and function.

I am so sorry to hear about your situation. I don't have all the answers but I do know God has seen your tears and heard your prayer. Stay strong and continue to believe. God has something good in store for you.
