Well the bug finally hit dad and he's been VERY sick the past couple of days, running a high fever, coughing, etc...
We've prayed hard as a family for him to get better, and now it's time to ask everyone else to join us in prayer for him. This is very unlike dad to get a cold like this, first time in years that I can remember.
Please join me in prayer so we can squish this bug once and for all.

I wanted to take this time to thank you for all your love and care. Each and everyone of you mean so much to Jan & Me.

I am not sure who will be reading this but I know the Lord will touch the ones he wants to.

May I tell you a little story. Last Year was one of the best years of my whole life. We saw thousands healed, saved and delivered. After preaching in Washington, Oregon, California, Mexico, Texas, New York and Oklahoma I had noticed we had been on the road for almost 8 months.

By the Time I got home I was tired. We finished the year by going into the inner city and help give about 10,000 toys away to needy children for Christmas. You should have seen their faces.

In January I noticed I was real tired so I went to the Doctors to see what was up. I was not prepared for the news.

He said I had.
1: Cancer and it had to be operated on now.
2: Diabetes sugar levels over 400
3: High Blood pressure 195/100

He did a biopsy.
It is cancer
One of the complications is getting a fever which I have now.

I am sorry for not telling you sooner.
Please forgive me for the Pride.

I just know the Lord must be up to something wonderful this year.
So I am going to enjoy the battle and watch the victory from him

We can't do this without you so again please forgive me for not being more open sooner.

I beleive that too! Not just for you, but for my mom and dad as well. God is up to something wonderful.

It wasn't your decision to withold this information, it was God's. You told us when He released you.

Anybody else remember that old song from the 70's... "Something Good is Going to Happen Today" ? That started rolling through my head when I read Jerry's post. It was a boring song but the words apply today as thry did then.

Jerry if you have any nay-sayers and people who enjoy what you are going through... Shame on them and we will pray for their Salvation.

We love you here Jerry and the Lord God Almighty loves you so much He sent Jesus to make a way for your healing. I don't see it as a fight as much as I see it as an opportunity to reach others as they watch the Lord heal you.




Father we stand hear in the gap for Jerry Gaffney, arm in arm to petition You for his healing. Lord God have Your way in his body and life and healt. I speak LIFE into his body and Life into his Faith and Trust in You Lord God! I speak Hope into Jerry and the Faith of Jesus as he faces this test. In the Name of Jesus be healed Jerry. The Egyptians (cancer) that you see today will never be seen again. The Lord himself will fight for you. You won't have to lift a finger in your defense!"

My Dear Friends and Prayer Partners

In the past 7 years I have shared only a very few times about some of our personal needs. I have never wanted to be a bother or a burden to you. It is because of your love and dedication we have grown into one of the most powerful prayer sites on the internet.

I just know Jesus is very proud of you.

Last year was one on the best years of my whole life. And just like a child at Disney Land I sometimes do not know how to say no when there is a need. Besides I really enjoy the battles the Lord allows me to get into.

We saw thousands get saved, healed and delivered by the Lord last year. After adding it all up I was in meetings almost 8 months. The Lord took us to Oregon, Washington, California, Texas, Mexico, New York and of course Oklahoma.

We ended the year by ministering with Pastor Ray Hampton in the inner city of Seattle Washington. We had the blessing to help give away about 10,000 Christmas Presents to children who would not have had a Christmas. Pastor Ray was the pastor that put this together. When we heard it we donated over 500 toys to the cause and then helped give the toys out. You should have seen their faces.

I was asked to start meetings in January as usual but I was a little tired, so I did something I almost never do. I went to the doctor to see what was up. I did this because my normal get up and go had got up and gone.

I was not ready for his report. He said:
1: I had cancer and needed an operation now. He did a biopsy that came back positive.
2: I had high blood pressure 195/110 worst 155/100 today
3: I had diabetes sugar 400
4: Something went wrong with my lungs and well he is still working on it. If I lay down in a bed I can not breath. That makes for an interesting experience. I have not slept for more than an hour at a time in days.

Well that's enough winning.

I just know the Lord is up to something wonderful because whenever there is a large test like this there is a larger blessing just around the corner.

So whose report will you believe.
I personally will believe the report of the Lord.
What I am asking I know you will give.
First I am asking for your love and understanding of this old warrior.
Second I am asking for your prayers. Will some of you invade the enemies territories with us so we can have the victory.

Remember "Thy Kingdon come Thy Will be done, NOW on earth as it is in heaven."

Third we have been without any offerings for over two months now so would you please pray a window in heaven to open. I just know this will give the devil a headache..

I just know this will be fun.
I do not give the enemy any respect in this.

I to battled cancer last year. God showed me through all the treatments his peace, his love, his grace, and his compassion. There was a peace within me that I had never before felt. He held my hand when I was so sick from chemo, he gave the sweet assurance that no matter what the circumstance his grace was all I needed. Jerry sometimes things in life happen to us it either makes us stronger in the Lord or it destroys us. For me my strenght came from the Lord, not from anything I did. For without him I am nothing but with him I can do all things. " James 5:13-15 Is any amoug you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. is any sink amoug you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, annointing him with oil in the name of the LORD: and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the LORD shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." Jerry, I had my church annoint me, an pray for me. Lord I ask you now in Jesus name annoint Jerry right where he is with your healing powers. Raise him up from this to be the mighty man of GOD you called him to be, with a new annointing more powerful than ever before, for your glory, in Jesus name. Amen

I was distressed to hear of your recent diagnosis. Within the last month my brother was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and was given 6 to 8 months to live. The cancer is inoperable. I have been praying very hard for his recovery and for an understanding as to why this happened. I will include you in my prayers....I know how hard this is for both you and your family. Fear was ruling my existance until I turned it over to the lord and allowed what will be to be. This brought peace during a time of incredible caos. I will pray for you and your family, as I hope you will do for mine. You still have much to do and I know that the lord will bring you through this.

Well the bug finally hit dad and he's been VERY sick the past couple of days, running a high fever, coughing, etc...
We've prayed hard as a family for him to get better, and now it's time to ask everyone else to join us in prayer for him. This is very unlike dad to get a cold like this, first time in years that I can remember.
Please join me in prayer so we can squish this bug once and for all.

Dear Jesus My Lord Please hear my prayer for Jerry. This touches a very special chord in my heart as one of my oldest friend from childhood has terminal brain cancer and eventhough with surgery and chemo much of the tumor was removed the tumor now multiplied by 4 has come back with a vengence and he is fading away fast. I have tried to find anything new that the doctors may be trying to save his life but he is too far gone and he is still hoping. So I am praying for him My Jesus that you should give him a miracle as his family is fading away because of this tragic event and if a miracle is not in the stars then please take him up to you and keep him there please and if you think this is too much for him now please let him run to you fast. I pray for him and I pray that I can see him one last time before he goes. He is too depressed and refuses to see anyone and we are on diffferent coasts but I pray that at least you allow me to see him and to be with him his last days. Please bless his family and their hearts which are breaking everyday. Please help Pastor Jerry Please help him get well. Thank you My Lord and Savior.

7 Years Ago My 16 Year Old Son Was Diagnosed With Cancer. 30 Days, 4 Surgeries And Hundreds Of Prayers Later, They Could Not Find One Cancer Cell In His Body.

He Was Put On A 12 Month Chemo/radiation Therapy. 9 Months Later God Told Him He Could Stop The Treatments. He Was Healed.

Dear Jerry: David and I will be praying for you and your family. I know our son, Jon and Lori, will be praying also. At Faith Family Church, Milton, you prayed for their baby, Nicky, who had a trac which was removed. He is now nine and faces a new surgery to make the tracey bigger as he has grown. Nicky really loves Jesus. God healed me of a tumor on my liver. Most of all, we walk by faith in God's Word - and the grace He gives for each of lifes battles; spiritual, physical or emotional. Our present pastor, Casy Treat, was reciently healed of Hepitis C. He followed months of his doctor's advice, neturtionist and others. Last year he was declared free of the virius - God's grace, confidence in God's word, and prayers brought them through it.

My family too went through a tramitic spritual war that involved abuse, forgiveness, the state atempting to take our daughter age 16 because of Christian indoctrnation. Karla just turned 30. Butterfly Kisses was sung at her wedding. She is fulling her dream; working in a Christian school. She won her battle against the state's and satans atempt to destory her and our family. Psalms 118 was her - our life line during those difficult times. God was and is faithful to HIS WORD!

David and I are praying about buying land in Challis - that area for a "Broken Wing" working community for Christian workers who need short term hand up as real people - one's who need a place to rest in Jesus. David and I have always had a burden for Christian ministers / workers as needing a friend beyond the glass. It is a vision that has been simmering for many years - A place that will not reject the person, but believe in God's rest and restoration. A place where the person can recieve both ministery themselves and be challenged by the Word in them.
At sixty four and sixty, David and I are believing for a place - not necessarly a retreat - but a farm, cottage industry, type facilities.
The name "Broken Wing Ranch" or (David knows farming - greenhouses, Woodworking and a host of other possiblities)? Just a place to be - in Jesus. A place to serve people with illness or suffered rejection by devorse or ? The stay would be short term, from a few days to several weeks.
God will bring those to us to help with this vision. He will give us or provide for us the 20+ acres we need. I belive the time is soon and such a ministry needed. David and I have been there, suffered rejection, seen God's Word be true in our lives and rebuild and restore life.

Please GOD, bless Jerry and his family at this time. I will continue my prayers and know they will be answered. GOD does not intend for us to be held captive by illness and the devil... I too worry a great deal about my health, I suppose its because as we get older we begin to face our mortality. I imagine and self diagnose myself with every little twich I experience. I pray to GOD to keep me healthy and make wise choices daily.
My prayers will include you Jerry each day and night. The LORD will see you through this, and I know you will be healed through Christ. We recently experienced cancer in our own family, my daughter in law was diagnosed with breast and bone cancer..She went through 6 months of chemotherapy and drugs. Now she is healthy and well, and looks like a million dollars. She is so positive and has been a tremendous spiritual up lift for all of us. She never was depressed and remained strong, which in fact, surprised all of us. GOD worked miracles in her life and I remain faithful he will do the same for you.

I thank you that Brother Gaffney lives and does not die according to your word, and in the name of Jesus. Thank you Lord that he is well and not sick according to your word that says that he was healed by the stripes of Jesus. That is it, that is the truth, there is no other perfect truth outside of Gods Word. We are standing on Gods Word, believing it is a done deal. In the past 7 years I have shared only a very few times about some of our personal needs. I have never wanted to be a bother or a burden to you. It is because of your love and dedication we have grown into one of the most powerful prayer sites on the internet.

I just know Jesus is very proud of you.

Last year was one on the best years of my whole life. And just like a child at Disney Land I sometimes do not know how to say no when there is a need. Besides I really enjoy the battles the Lord allows me to get into.

We saw thousands get saved, healed and delivered by the Lord last year. After adding it all up I was in meetings almost 8 months. The Lord took us to Oregon, Washington, California, Texas, Mexico, New York and of course Oklahoma.

We ended the year by ministering with Pastor Ray Hampton in the inner city of Seattle Washington. We had the blessing to help give away about 10,000 Christmas Presents to children who would not have had a Christmas. Pastor Ray was the pastor that put this together. When we heard it we donated over 500 toys to the cause and then helped give the toys out. You should have seen their faces.

I was asked to start meetings in January as usual but I was a little tired, so I did something I almost never do. I went to the doctor to see what was up. I did this because my normal get up and go had got up and gone.

I was not ready for his report. He said:
1: I had cancer and needed an operation now. He did a biopsy that came back positive.
2: I had high blood pressure 195/110 worst 155/100 today
3: I had diabetes sugar 400
4: Something went wrong with my lungs and well he is still working on it. If I lay down in a bed I can not breath. That makes for an interesting experience. I have not slept for more than an hour at a time in days.

Well that's enough winning.

I just know the Lord is up to something wonderful because whenever there is a large test like this there is a larger blessing just around the corner.

So whose report will you believe.
I personally will believe the report of the Lord.
What I am asking I know you will give.
First I am asking for your love and understanding of this old warrior.
Second I am asking for your prayers. Will some of you invade the enemies territories with us so we can have the victory.

Remember "Thy Kingdon come Thy Will be done, NOW on earth as it is in heaven."

Third we have been without any offerings for over two months now so would you please pray a window in heaven to open. I just know this will give the devil a headache..

I just know this will be fun.

I hope you will read this because I feel very strong about this. First of all I want to say I am sorry. I know it can very frigthening when you get some news of this sort. We are all here for you just as you are here for us. We are one big family and I truly believe that. We will al start praying immediately for you , but you have to have a strong will and a strong heart and decied you are going to beat this. You need to get up and walk slowly to smell eveything and slow down a bit (meetings). If you are like the rest of us you are going and doing way to much. Focus on your health. Your mind has to BE strong and you have to really want to get better. That's the easy part.
Now let us do ALL the praying for you . This is my prayer for you. (And I might add that I am not really good with words but it comes from my heart) and it is truly real.
I pray that the Lord lift you up to the heavens exam you inside and out. Take this awful sickness out of you have and put it in a bag. Zip it up and and then wrap it up and but it at the devils gate. Tell him he has a gift that is perfect for him and his followers.
For you family they have to be POSITIVE. I pray they stay close to help concor this with you.
We still need you here on this earth. You have done so many great things and are still doing them. In God's name I pray.

I will pray for you daily, but just know God does answer prayers. Being a two time survivor of breast cancer, showed me that when you believe and don't doubt the enemy will be defeated. I can remember when I was diagnosed the second time, someone told me "you said you were healed the first time, what happened"? My reply was a healing delayed is not a healing denied, and this is not about me, but it's larger than me. God used me to show Himself to others. I know you have mustard seed faith, and I will believe with you and your family for your divine healing.

I am praying for you!!!!!! About five years ago the doctor told me I had high blod pressure and diabetes also. I came home and prayed to God to heal me from these diseases. I will not lie; I had to do some serious lifestyle changes with my diet and exercise. I do still take medication (no insulin though); but every time I go to the doctor now; he is amazed at how well I control these diseases. I tell him it is not me; It is the power of God. Jerry I feel that God is going to bring you through this crisis. I will continue to pray for you.

Dear Jerry, So many of us on this board have seen with our very eyes the incredible healing power of the Lord Jesus! I have personally seen cancer HEALED 3 times in our church...and the people are WELL today! 2 of these cases were without any medication/operations at all...Jesus just healed them! Others have had other procedures done, and still were completely healed. I have NO fear for you! I know the Lord hears and honors your prayers, and that this time for you will be to HIS honor and glory and magnification! "Without the 'test' there can be not 'testimony'.

I am joining in prayer for your soon recovery. I think sometimes we tend to forget that our God is so very awesome. Since Jesus came and we see Him as a God man, and the Holy Spirit speaks to us in a still small voice, we sometimes tend to think of God as man size. We forget to remember that He is the same God who spoke to Abraham out of the sky, and whose voice caused Mt Sinai to thunder, smoke and tremble. The Israelites thought that He was a God of anger, because if they touched the mountain they would die, but the truth is that the presence of God was so strong on that mountain that if any one or any creature touched it they wouldn't be able to resist His presence in their mortal bodies so they would die. They were so frightened that they asked God not to speak to them. He was so awesome that they were afraid to speak His name. Today we see Him as small and human, we shake our fists in His face and we take His name in vain, and because He doesn't smite us we think that He can't. Actually our God is that same God who spoke on the plains to Abraham in such a powerful way. There is nothing too difficult for Him, and cancer, diabetes, lung problems, high blood pressure, fear, and everything else must bow at the name of Jesus. They can not resist. In the name of Jesus I place those names under the name of Jesus and command them to bow and retreat in His powerful and Almighty name. Through the Holy Spirit. And I ask God to send His angels to cover you with His mighty love

May God send his angels to surround you and protect you and bring you a speedy recovery. Just a suggestion about your diabetes. I use cinnamon in cereal, yogurt or basically anything and it helps to lower it. Don't need that much, hope this helps. God bless you, Darlene

We have one of the best medical systems in the World here in the US, but would not have it if it weren't for the Grace of God.
