This was a dream I started a fast really seeking the Lord, as some fo you know I havent been around in a while and I thank those who prayed for me.

It was nighttime (not darkness), I was running away from a helicopter that was using a spotlight to chase me down. I was running through backyards, bushes etc. (Like in the show COPS) As I was running, there was one scene as I was going through a backyard a couple was walking to their door and they looked confused and scared at the same time as I ran through their backyard. Then it seemed as I lost the helicopter another helicopter came from a different direction and was able to use his spotlight on me right away, I started running again and the helicopter was following trying to keep the spotlight on me. Then as I was running down the street a limosine was in the chase too. Then I stopped and the limosine came to a screeching halt. Then a boy came out probably around 5-7 years old and some other people. They came up to me and said "We have been looking for you all over" I had never seen them before or the boy. The boy came up to me and gave me a hug.....The END

Im not sure in the dream what I was running from, it wasnt the police or I didnt feel that way.

Hello Brother Julius,
It’s great having you back!!! God gives us minds to develop opinions. I'm human and make mastakes. If you don’t have peace about something, then proceed with caution before believing it’s true.
(Copied) This was a dream I started a fast really seeking the Lord.
Please read all of Isaiah 58:
It helps me to see God’s view of a true fast as worship to him. God confronts the people who are fasting out of strife or debate. In other words, they wanted their way. He reminds them that if they want “their voice heard on high," then first they must humble themselves before him. God responds quickly with grace when we come to him in need. Verses 6-14 He replies, “Here I am” “I want to break every yoke and undo the heavy burdens…"
Interpretation:
(Copied) It was nighttime (not darkness), I was running away from a helicopter that was using a spotlight to chase me down. I was running through backyards, bushes etc. (Like in the show COPS)
The Thesaurus describes scrutinize as: 1.To look at carefully or critically: check (out), con, examine, inspect, study, survey, view. Informal case. Idioms: give a going-over. See investigate. 2.To look at or on attentively or carefully: eye, observe, regard, survey, watch. Idioms: have one keep an eye on, keep tabs on. See awareness/unawareness, see/not see.
This could symbolize that you are feeling like something is trying to “run you down”, belittle you or has expressed a negative opinion in your regards?
(Copied) was running, there was one scene as I was going through a backyard...Bill says backyards symbolize “past." God doesn’t want our past to devastate our lives. Philippians 3:13-14, tells us to forget what lies behind and reach forward to what’s ahead…Press forward toward the goal of God in Christ. If we don’t let go and forgive, our pasts can hold us back with guilt, shame, or condemnation, and we miss out. II Cor. tells us that Godly sorrow produce life or leads us to life, but condemnation death. We can learn from the past, but then let go and let God.
(Copied) a couple was walking to their door and they looked confused and scared at the same time as I ran through their backyard.I don’t know what your fasting about? Does it have to do with your desire for love??? Many people find it “confusing” and “scary” being a couple. Relationships take time to grow. “Taken a short cut”or forcing feeling too quickly before someone is ready can create confusion and fear. If I'm completely wrong about the reason for your fast, please forgive my presumption in advance.
God treasures people. A person’s value shouldn’t be in what we do or even accomplish, but in who we are as his people. God will never trespass his way into our heart. (I Cor. 13:4-7)
The helicopter was“coming from a different direction.”(COPY) And “was able to use his spotlight on me right away” This could represent a different perspectives concerning a matter, so stay open. While our understanding is limited, God will remind you that he sees the big picture clearly from every angle.
(Copied) I started running again and the helicopter was following trying to keep the spotlight on me. Then as I was running down the street a limousine was in the chase too. Then I stopped and the limousine came to a screeching halt. God is building your trust and faith in Him. Trusting him with a “pure humble childlike faith”and believing He is in charge. HE will reigh with truth and righteousness in you life. He wants you completely free from any opinions of others looking down on you because you’re approved by Him. God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Fasting is a form of humility and meekness. Meekness is not weakness. Meekness is power under control! ...Isaiah 58:14 …"You will delight in the Lord, And I WILL make you ride on the heights of the earth; And I WILL feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father". …this sounds like limos. to me.

Blessing!!!...God’s Grace
If I'm completely off, please forgive me and let me know! Thanks!

Dear Dr J

I am so pleased to hear from you again. I (We) sorely miss you and your contributions to this site.

John 9:4 (Amplified Bible) 4We must work the works of Him Who sent Me and be busy with His business while it is daylight; night is coming on, when no man can work.
The dream suggest a Night season. This season is characterized by spiritual warfare, struggle and trial. The dream suggest the duplicity of the Pursuit and being of being pursued (spiritual warfare). This paradox may suggest your present circumstance and ministry. Ultimately, it may suggest Gods pursuit and embrace...

let me know if makes sense....

WORK, FOR THE NIGHT IS COMING
Work, for the night is coming,
Work through the morning hours;
Work while the dew is sparkling,
Work ’mid springing flowers;
Work when the day grows brighter,
Work in the glowing sun;
Work, for the night is coming,
When man’s work is done.
Work, for the night is coming,
Work through the sunny noon;
Fill brightest hours with labor,
Rest comes sure and soon.
Give every flying minute,
Something to keep in store;
Work, for the night is coming,
When man works no more.
Work, for the night is coming,
Under the sunset skies;
While their bright tints are glowing,
Work, for daylight flies.
Work till the last beam fadeth,
Fadeth to shine no more;
Work, while the night is darkening,
When man’s work is o’er.
