I recently recieved an email from someone I dated a few times before He enrolled for the army service. Luke has asked me to keep him in prayers since he has been stationed in Baghdad. I was pleasantly surprised to recieve this request for prayer because just the thought he is reaching out to the Lord is hope enough for him to get restored and follow Christ. Not only because he finds himself in a desperate situation but because I hope he realizes that with Chirst on our side, we are protected. Please pray that when leaves the services in 2 more years or so, that Luke will continue to follow the Lord earnestly and invite Him as His Lord and Saviour. I pray the Lord gives Luke wisdom, guidance and protects him and others from all harm and evil, in Jesus name. Dear God, Luke needs you right now and is seeking you everyday with earnest prayers, I pray that you open his eyes, heart and mind and he welcomes you with pure love for the long haul and not just temporarily. Thank you Lord for moving Luke's heart in seeking you with prayers and realizing that you are the one to protect and give him strength, I pray all this in Jesus name.

PS: It took a lot to pray for Luke because of his past but I know he is a good person and is seeking Christ and I want to be like Christ and forgive others and not hold grudges for something the enemy was to blame for...I love Christ and will help others, no matter what they have done to me in the past because I am not a person to hold grudges nor hate for the Lord gave me something that cannot be taken away, not ever, and this is called, "compassion and mercy."

Thank you Nessa. I grately appreicate your earnest prayer. I know the good Lord will keep Luke safe but it is up to Luke to seek Him wholeheartedly.
