The people of Iraq

Pray for the people of Iraq. The divisions and strife plague them and create hinderances to progress. Pray that they are given wisdom and honor and guidance. Pray that Christian strongholds begin to take root there. Pray that understanding, politically, economically, and socially begin to emerge. Most of all pray for peace.

Dear Lord in Heaven, I am praying in agreement over this prayer request for Iraq. May the people learn to live in peace and have understanding and compassion for one another and learn Thy ways. May the roots of Christianity and the fruits of Thy gospel have a chance to flow into their country and hearts. May the people not have to live in fear and with violence as part of their daily lives. May their children have a chance at peace to grow in hope and come to know their Saviour. I pray that Thy hand may be over this country and ask in Jesus Holy name amen.
