Make me a vessel I'll show them Jesus
Straight and true, Teach them the way,
Give me a mission Bind them for Heaven
With something to do. Help them to pray.
You have the vision I'll walk life's highways
That I need to see, And byways with you,
Open my eyes, Lord Searching for lost sheep
And show it to me. Equip me to do.
Make me humble All you have planned
Willing to bend, I'll do it for you,
Make my heart tender Give me a mission
Your message to send. I'll see it through.
Send me your spirit Jesus, I love you!
Comfort and Guide, You are a good friend,
Stay with me closely Someday, I'll see you
Walk by my side. In person and then....
Send me the hurting We'll walk together
The troubled and blue, On heaven's shore,
Ones in despair My mission, then over
I'll tell them of you. And time is no more.

Nice poem! May we all desire to fulfill our mission as Christians...to be the light of the world & share the good news of salvation. May the Lord use as mightily for His glory!
