Hinderances to Real Estate Transactions

Hello Everyone! I really need your prayers. Pete's co-worker and friend the real estate agent Cassandra has not been at work for three days now. She even sent me the following e-mail even though she was out of the office!

That's up to you. I would suggest that you browse thru the free sites first and exhaust all means there first. Also, I have notice in the past some of those fee service sites offer homes, but in some cases the homes have already been sold by the time you get the new bi weekly list. I have already forwarded you so many sites. First take a look here and see what you find. I also mentioned to Peter that you guys will have to go out and look at the homes you find interesting before bidding. You must remember in this area the housing market is very high, and every one is looking for a "Great Deal' foreclosures, tax sales, etc. We will have to do our homework and take our time to find what's best for you, but it requires work. Some of them you may not be able to go inside and you are buying them from just looking at the outside, and you have no way of knowing what's inside. But if it's a nice neighborhood and the outside is nice, and a great price, it's worth fixing the house up. Remember these houses are "As Is", and everyone is looking for a great buy. Peter stated he didn't want to have a note on the mortgage. I'm not sure how realistic this might be, but we are going to have to work hard and start looking and shopping around aggressively.

Peter and I went to a realtor to pick up the condo documents to finish placing his condo on the market. However, Peter has been unable to inform Cassandra of the good news. It adds to the frustration that Cassandra would send the negative e-mail above during her mysterious absense from work! When Peter informed me that Cassandra was still out of the office, I sent the following e-mail back to Cassandra. I hope it produces results and that it humbles her instead of offending her:

I wanted to let you know that Pete has the condo documents. He got them from the real estate office. We are more than willing to drive to the houses we are interested in. We still could use all the help we could possibly get. We are counting on you fellow sister in Christ to help us. We are a people of bold faith. We believe our God is able to make a way for us no mater what if we do our part. We can't do it all by ourselves. We need and ally to advocate for us. We are very faithful and hopeful and optimistic that this will succeed and work with God's help and yours. If there is anyone else that you know who would be able to help us, that would be marvelous. We need you Cassandra. Please don't give up on us. We are counting on you to help us and so is our Almighty God and our Savior Jesus Christ! God bless you for your help. Thank you very much!

Please pray for these hinderances and obstracles to be removed and for God to prohibit any new ones from forming. We have to get Pete's condo sold ASAP! We also have to get our new home. It is extremely critical. As for Cassandra helping us, we will not take no for an answer. Cassandra is supposesly a Christian who happens to like Joyce Meyer. She commented on the Joyce Meyer books (that I gave him) that she saw in Pete's condo when she came by. We are very bold stubborn believers. A true Shepherd will help us instead of expecting us to do all the work. Yes we need to do our part, but no-one should ever expect us to do the work that they have been hired to do. It just doesn't make any sense! I'm sick of people promising to help us and then getting on us to do all the work they promised to do themselves! We are counting on her like anything! God gave her an assignment to help us find a house. He will be furious if she does not do as called! She can't bail out and refuse to help us she can't! It makes me wonder if she's refusing to come to work to avoid Pete. Maybe that's going too far. But it sure seems funny that she woud not show up at work and then send me an e-mail from home during her absense. Please pray for us! God Bless You All!

Hello Everyone. Cassandra just sent me another e-mail, but it was not in response to the e-mail I had sent her. The good news is that she is working on our case. She was informing me of the status of a home we were interested in buying. For details, check below:

Janet,

The agent is out of town until Saturday, but I spoke to her assistant who stated that the property is a small Rambler( single family house) approx. 40 years old, Bay window in the front, Siding on the front of the house with two windows by the front door. It has an old kitchen that needs updating, nice bathrooms - Three Bedroom and Two Baths. The Homes in an area where houses nomally sale between $330 and $350.00. She did not have the Foreclosed price yet because the family is still trying to sell open market before they lose the property to foreclosure. I haven't heard from the law office/agent on the Falls Church location or Stafford yet.

Keep praying for God's favor in all of this. I hope she got my last e-mail. God Bless You All!

Lord, please keep working on our behalf to find us a suitable home to raise a healthy Christian family for You. Thanks for Cassandra's efforts. Please bless her work and open up more doors. Please let us hear from more agents quickly and bring this whole process to a speedy conclusion for Your glory. Thanks, in Jesus Name amen.
