I hope writing this helps me feel better...or helps me find some answers.
Lately I'm not happy with my job. Actually, I'm not happy with the people I have to deal with on a daily basis. I'm in the construction industry and the other contractors I have to deal with, for the most part are not qualified to perform their job. I am tired of arguing and fighting just to do my job. I like my company and I like my job, I'm just tired of dealing with these people. I had to work my way out of the field and then take management classes to become a project manager. Most contractors nowdays have project managers that have never done construction and are not qualified to be managers. I am tired of dealing with them and am unhappy as a result.
I would like clear direction about my career. I don't want the stress to create health problems.

Lord, send direction to Paul. Show him what to do in this situation. I pray that You will send him ways to deal with the frustration. Or help him find other work. Lord God, put peace in his heart and mind. I pray that he will learn how to focus on the positive (hard I know) rather than the negative. Perhaps, you have something else for him if he is not satisfied there. Show him better ways to deal with these people. Maybe he is not called to be a project manager if these are the situations one deals with. Help him to find YOUR WILL for him, the purpose and place You have for him. In Jesus Name, amen.

Help him to see with mercy these people
who make his job difficult.
Grant him favor and the art of persuasion
in motivating others to cooperate.
Fill him with Joy for life
For emotions are contagious
