Lonesome, Tonight

I went to ladies prayer group, like every Monday night, then dropped by my sisters to make sure all was well, then came home. The cat is out prowling about (it is in the 40's here so like a heatwave for her). Anyhow, it is so incredibly quiet tonight. I am awake and lonesome. I've praised and prayed and read and watched tv and done it all again. With my best earthly friend in Iraq and, and the others sound asleep, it is as if there is no one. Pray for me to steady and calm and sleep, pray for the cat to be safe, and pray for my beloved to remain safe and secure.

I can certainly relate to those feelings Vanessa. I am thinking of you over here in Norway and praying for you tonight.
Dear Lord, I pray that You will cover Vanessa with a blanket of peace and comfort tonight, that she will feel your presence and continual awareness of her and in every need and concern she is having. Protect her loved one in Iraq and give her a peaceful reassurance tonight. I pray in for every blessing she stands in need of and know that You see each and every one. I ask in Jesus Holy name amen.

Thank you all for your prayers and Praise the Lord, I am feeling better. This is the strangest place I have ever dwelled, as far as culture. The people welcome you and then let you be, as if it is somehow appropriate and if you need them you will call. Nice, yes. Stand-offish, yes! And I am craving a church that is a living center not dwelling on sin but on progression. Anyhow I thank the Lord for each one of you and ask for a special blessing upon you. My time of whininess has passed. Hallelujah!!!
