Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I come to this prayer board today with a heart filled with pain and grief, asking for you all to pray for my family and me as we are under constant attack from the enemy and are weary and worn out from satans attacks on us. I feel like I am always asking for prayers but I don't know where else to turn and i have been praying so hard but things just seem to keep getting worse. It seems like the more i pray for others the harder satan attacks my loved ones. Our church does not seem to care about us or what we are going through. I appreciate all your prayers and support.

One week ago yesterday our beloved dog was diagnosed with a brain tumor after everything else was ruled out. He has been losing weight for several months and gradually his behavior changing. He is thin and frail, having lost almost 20 pounds. Our vet said the only hope of slowing the growth of the tumor and extending his life was to put him on prednisone which we did and he has been slowly showing improvemet which we have been so thankful for. He is a wonderful sweet dog and part of our family, we love him dearly and cant bear the thought of losing him. I have been praying that the doctors are wrong in their diagnosis and that God will heal him and restore him to health. Every time i feel optimistic and hopeful however, satan launches yet another attack on us. My husband and i are separated but have been trying to put our marriage back together despite much opposition. Things were going well until our dog became ill and then everything started unravelling again. My husband and I both suffer from chronic illnesses and all the stress has severely affected our health. I suffer from depression due to my illness and now my husband is very depressed and I believe our daughter has clinical depression, she has not been herself at all for about 4 months but refuses to see her doctor or seek counseling. she is struggling in school this year and may not graduate.

Last evening just one week to the day we received the news that our dog likely has a brain tumor, my daughters precious little kitten fell very ill suddenly and we had to have him put to sleep. He was only 6 months old and showed no sign of being ill. My daughter came home from school to find him almost unconscious near the litter box and called her dad who rushed the kitten to the vet but it was too late to save him. my husband was told he had a complete urinary tract obstruction and would not likely survive the surgery and it would likely recur so he had to make the painful decision to have our sweet kitten put to sleep. We are so heartbroken, especially our daughter she loved him so much, he was such a friendly playful cat while the other 2 kittens are more aloof, preferring to play with each other rather than cuddle or be held. He was a beautiful siamese kitten, The vet said it could have been related to diet (kitten food)and a possible genetic predisposition to this but we do not understand why we saw no symptoms that he was ill. He was eating and playing like he usually did.We are worried about his 2 brothers, that they may end up with the same problem so we are putting them on a special prescription diet and i pray they will be okay because we cannot handle losing another pet right about now. We have had so many losses over the past few years, several family members and pets and my son lost 2 close friends to suicide and with every further loss he becomes more depressed. My kids have been through so much the past few years and it breaks my heart to see them suffering so much.

I am sorry to make this so long. Please pray that God will work a miracle and heal our precious dog and spare his life and that God will take care of all our other pets and help us to keep them in good health. Also could i ask that you pray for my husband and kids, that their hearts will heal and they will turn to the Lord and come to know Him as Lord and Savior. Please pray for my health and my husbands as we are both suffering much physical pain right now in addition to emotional pain.

Father, i come to You broken hearted feeling at the end of my rope physically and emotionally. I ask that You would rebuke satan and stop him from tormenting us continually, You know how much satan has stolen from us over the past 7 years. Lord I pray with all my heart that You will heal our precious Ryder of all illness. He was a precious gift from You during a very painful time in my life and You know how much joy and comfort he has brought all of us. Please Lord, do not call him home yet. Please bless the medication to help him get well and shrivel any tumors in his body so they dry up completely to never return. Lord please heal our remaining two cats of any illness they may have and heal our hearts that are broken over the loss of our precious kitten. I thank You Lord for the joy he brought us during his short life, he was a wonderful pet. I pray that he is safely cradled in Your arms Lord Jesus and that we will be reunited with our beloved pets in heaven some day. Help us to comfort our children through these losses. Thank You for Pastor Jerry and thank You for healing him and for all the wonderful prayers prayed for us here. I ask and pray in the Holy name of Jesus, Father God, amen.

Father God,
Today I hold up to You my sister Glenda. Please comfort her and her family as they endure the trials they are experiencing. Please draw them close and wrap Your loving arms around them. Lord, You send us pets to remind us of Your unconditional loving-kindness; their faithfulness and loyalty remind us of Your faithfulness to us. Our care and love for them reminds us of Your care and love for us. Lord, please relieve the suffering of Glenda's beloved pet dog. Please protect the other kittens from illness and disease. Please comfort her childrens' hurting hearts. Please help them to be a beacon for their friends who are lost, alone and scared. Please burden them to seek You as their Lord and Saviour. Lord, please strengthen this marriage and I ask that Glenda and her husband lean on Your strong arms and focus their marriage firmly on You. For You are the Great Counselor and the Great Mediator. You make our paths straight and our way clear when the world clouds our sight and muddies our thinking. You are our strength and our salvation. We have everything because of Your Great Love for us! Thank You, Lord. In Jesus' Name I Pray. Amen.

Sharyn, thank you so much for your beautiful prayer for us, i have tears in my eyes as i read it....the past week has been so much sadness with our dog being given such a poor prognosis and then losing another precious pet so unexpectedly on thursday. our pets mean so much to us and have been such a comfort and a joy through a very rough time in our lives. we miss our adorable kitty terribly and our other cats look very despondant wondering where their brother and playmate went. I think the dogs miss him too because he used to like to curl up with the dogs to sleep.

You must be a person who loves animals too! God bless you dear sister!

Lord, I lift Glenda and her family up to you..protect them and give them victory over satan's attacks against them. Begin to bless this family with physical healing, emotional joy, and hope for the future. Give them eyes to recognize your hand and your will working in their lives. Bring them to a place of peace and victory so they may be a testimony of your grace and loving care. Lord I also ask you to move in the hearts of the unsaved members of the family that they will recognize the protection you provide, and recognize you as the Lord and saviour you are, to accept you into their hearts.

Thank You Lord Amen
