I was divorced a year ago after 30 years of marriage. I have been dating someone for almost that entire time, but don't know if this is what the Lord wants for me. He says he loves me and wants to be married sometime in the future. I am scared that I've only dated him and one other person. I am told by many that he is not the one for me, but I want to know what the Lord wants me to do. Please help.
Please pray that I hear Him.

My Sister Wait on the Lord, who is not the author of confusion. He will reveal His will for you. Lord, I pray that you will speak to my sister and that she will know your voice concerning this matter. Let her not be misguided in seeking council from incorrect sources. Lord, your word confirms that "whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord. Proverbs 18:22. Reveal to her if this is the person who has your favor and permission to marry her, YOUR daughter. Because YOU Lord want the best for her. I pray that you will calm her fears and give her inner peace. In Jesus name. Amen

Lord, I pray for guidance and protection of my sister. Please help her to hear your voice and help her to be able to find her way. Show her the path that you have laid before, that there will be no more confusion as to what she should do. Help her and bless her Lord that she will look to you for the answers. In your name I pray. Amen.

Lord thank you for these prayers I stand in agreement with me brothers and sisters in Christ!

Lord I just ask right now you will begin to open her eyes! Being to speak to her spirit. That she will not miss what You have for her. She will walk through the doors that you have opened,

Lord I thank you that satin will not have victory here that she will lean on you for understanding and not her “feelings”

That her emotions and mind will line up with the word of God, and she will know in her spirit what to do.

I Break off and strong holds and tare down any thing that the enemy has set up hindering her from hearing You! God giver her the strength to stop white knuckling things in her life and release it to you show her what she needs to do.

Father,
I ask you to open the spiritual eyes of this one to see what you have for her. Lord, she wants what you want. I ask you to make the path clear for her. In Jesus NAme,Amen.

TimetoTrust,
Here are a few questions that you should consider in making a decision whether he is the one.
1) Is he saved?
2) Does he not just say he is a child of God but does his walk show it?
3) Does he treat you the way Christ would?
4) Are you equally yoked? (example: Both spirit filled christians or Both unsaved)
Ok I know the last one is hard but trust me God said not to be unequally yoked for a good reason. If you aren't spiritually in tune the marriage isn't on a solid foundation from the beginning. Bobbie
