I need to be helped

I feel that I can pray for others but feel so dry for myself as I feel that I am always praying for the same things. I feel that lately I have been in a performance mode with Jesus, He is only around or helpful when I am totolly engaged. I am frustrated with my son, who called me a "*****" and he is 13 yrs. old. I feel that I have prayed and prayed andprayed about him and his father so much that I am feeling like giving up. I really need prayer to have a new perspective on Jesus.

YOu must be doing something right cause Satan only attacks those who are annoying him or a danger to him. Somtimes we have to walk through the desert (dry places) but God hasn't left you he is carrying you. Read the poem Footprints it is true.
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied:
"My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."

Lord Jesus please encourage this Mom and grant her peace, and show her and her husband how to handle this 13 year old. Lord touch this son in a mighty way, to see that his parents love him so much and they only want the best for him Lord open his eyes to see the truth. and break the spirit of rebellion that is trying to take hold of him. Lord Jesus this Son belong to you and Satan cannot touch him. In Jesus name amen

Dear Lord, thank you for this dear one.
Comfort her with your love.
Help this son mature and learn about himself.
Teach him anger management, Lord, by helping him get close to you.

Father we thank you in the midst of our strife. Not because of it, but because You promised to never leave us nor forsake us. Thank You Lord, for Your promises! Lord grant us Your grace, because only Your grace is sufficient! Amen.
