Pray for a stressful marriage

Hello-
This is my first post on this board. I need prayer for my husband and for our marriage. We have a good marriage on the whole, but we are set to move into our first house this week, and the buying process has put us both under a lot of stress. In order to furnish the home, my husband, David, has decided it's best for him to work as much overtime as he can. He is a good provider, and I love him for all that he does for us. However, he has been working so much lately that he is tired all the time. Tired and very cranky. For the past few weeks, we get into a big fight near the weekends, and it's always because I did or didn't do something to his liking. I know that if he wasn't so tired and overworked, these issues wouldn't be issues at all. He even admits to that afterwards. The main problem is that my husband was raised in a very emotional abusing household where he was taught that the silent treatment and unforgiveness were the ways to go in an argument. He's gotten much better over the 6 years we've been together, but this fight we're in today is one that I know could last for days because he is just as mad the day after a fight as he is during the fight. He will barely talk to me, and when he does, there is such contempt in his voice.

Now that I'm done rambling, I'm asking for prayer in these areas:
1. That my husband doesn't let his job negatively affect our marriage.
2. That my husband doesn't let fatigue control his emotions.
3. That we learn to fight as god would want us to.
4. That I can be the best wife to my husband and vice versa.

I pray and come into agreement with you concerning your prayer requests. There is power in agreement when we come together and bring our requests unto our Lord.

I pray that the Lord would minister unto your husband at this time and that he would calm your husbands spirit and soul. I pray Father that you would calm the storm that is brewing right now in this family's life. I would speak 'peace" in the midst of the storm and Father God, calm the raging waters that would try to overtake this couple in their time of need.

i pray Father God that you would heal this husband of the emotional abuse he witnessed in his childhood and family. Heal his heart, mind and memories Father and enable him to be the husband and father you would have him to be. Deliver him from all destructive thoughts and behavior Lord Jesus, and let your spirit rule and reign in his life. Let your love abide in Him and let it show in his behavior and actions.

Give this wife Steplee, the wisdom and knowledge of what to do and what to say and the right time to do it.
Father, give her the inward strength to be still and to continue to honor and love her husband even when she feels she can't do it. Help her to turn her husband completely over to you and enable her to allow you to take control of her mind and mouth that she would not say or do anything that may lead to confrontation.

i pray against the spirit of emotional and physical abuse in Jesus name and I plead the blood of Jesus over this household and Father apply your blood to the doorposts of this home and I ask that peace would manifest itself in their home. I come against the spirit of discord in Jesus name and division and I ask Father there would be a spirit of one accord, unity, understanding and a joy in their hearts for their blessings in their lives and the excitement of having their first home.

I bind all spirits of darkness of unforgiveness, bitterness the spirit of witchcraft which is intimidation, manipulaton and control in Jesus name and Father I ask that this husband would be loosed and set free from these chains of torment. Free him with your perfect love Father God and give him a revelation of how much you love him. Fill him to overflowing with peace, love and a harmonious spirit.

Father we all have our choices to make and you allow us to be free agents and you are a gentleman that you will not impose yourself upon us and our loved ones but Father we ask that you would make a way to show this husband your mercy, grace and love that he would know without a doubt that you are Lord and you love him. Help him to make the right choices Father and enable him to accept responsiblility when he errors and sins in his ways.

I pray that you Lord would be the head of this home and this husband would love his wife as Christ loves His church and that this wife would continue to honor and show respect to her husband even she feels he doesn't deserve it.

Take control Lord Jesus of this situation and may you show your awesome love to this family and bring sweet blessings while they are in transition to their new home you are blessing them with!!

May your spirit rest and abide with and within them and may you answer this prayer that your name would be glorified in their every move and they would know you are Lord of all!

Lord, I come to you in prayer for this marriage.

I thank you for Stephanie. Guard and keep her safe.

I bless them with wholeness and love for each other.

I tear up the roots of his anger and his bad training.

I bless him with rest and peace and healing in his heart.

I bless them with wisdom and understanding.

Please open new income streams of prosperity that will remove financial pressure.

May this become a very happy home.

Father, I pray for positive and loving communication between this husband and wife. May their conversations be riped with love, support and respect for each other. Father, teach this husband how best to communicate with his wife. I come against all generational curses that this husband has in his life. Teach him to replace anger with love, respect and joy. Just teach him better to emote his feelings towards his wife. Father, I pray for finances to this household so that the husband does not have to work a lot of additional hours at work. May he get ample rest and spend quality time, loving time with his wife. Move in all of this, I pray. Amen

Dear Lord, how very much this couple needs Your presence and help in preserving their good marriage under pressure -- as Stephanie so desires! May David not be consumed by the financial responsibility of owning a house to the extent of continually being overworked, fatigued in body and spirit, and negatively stressed. Help him, with a life yielded to your leading, to cast hovering cares on You -- Who promised to never leave or forsake us. Cause any and all abuse to cease -- overruled by respect and thoughtfulness. Help the husband to have self-control over past hurts from mismanaged emotions. Take away the tendency to bitterness, anger, and hurtful action. Let kindness and forgiveness prevail.
I pray for Your peace, which passeth all understanding, to keep husband's and wife's hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. May they each learn the secret of dealing with both abundance and want, with carefree days and those fraught with emotional distress -- to manage pressure through dependence on Your Word, a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Dear Lord, the One Who knows what lies ahead for this couple, please let them be close to You and know Your presence in their lives -- each individually believing in his/her heart that God hath raised Him from the dead and confessing the Lord Jesus, Who ever liveth to make intercession for us. In the comfort of the Holy Ghost please give to them peace. As they delight themselves in thee, may they be given the desires of their hearts -- individual happiness, rewarding work, and a happy home. As they acknowledge You and receive Your direction, rekindle between them the love they shared that gives gladness to each other. We pray, dear Lord, that Thou, Who instituted marriage, bless and preserve this couple's. May they have happiness together in an enduring relationship -- supported by the love of family and friends.
