I am praising the Lord for bringing Sierra (my 4 yr old granddaughter) through her tonsilectomy, adnoidectomy surgery today and successful placement of her pic line for IV antibiotics too. She is very sore and crying a lot, but otherwise doing fine. Everyone at the hospital has been very kind and helpful too. They were very impressed that Sierra looked so well following surgery - they said most children don't look as good as she does and she has an underlying disease too (Cystic Fibrosis). Praise the Lord.
She will need to be on IV antibiotics for 3 weeks and therefore is still in the hospital and will be for about 3 days since they must regulate the dosage of the antibiotics to make sure it isn't toxic. We are trusting the Lord in all of this. Thank you Lord for answering our prayers in this situation! Thanks to those who have been praying with us on this and our family adjustments since Sierra's mommy died and my son (her daddy) Jeff has been left to care for her and her brother who both have cystic fibrosis.
