I am new.

Hi my name is Terri,

I just came to Annointed today. I was searching the web for restortation of my marriage. I don't want to bore you to death so I will keep this short but straight from the heart and to the point of what I did 8 years ago.

I was married a stay home mom of two wonderful boys! I went to the Betty Ford Center in Calf. for drinking and when I returned to Houston I went to AA. In AA I meet and had an affaire, divorced my husband and married this other person. Today I am divorced from him and standing for restortation of my marriage to my first husband! I have spent the last 8 years beating myself up, living in shame and condemnation, I let Satan temp me into adultry, then he beat the heck out of me with this sin. My first husband and I are both christians, but I back slid...Since my divorce from the second man i have stayed pure and even stood for our marriage to be restored, but he wantd nothing to do with following God and I don't think God was behind that stand anyway.

Today I pray for God not only to restore my first marriage... but our family! Satan not only tried to destory me through this but my family, I have walked with God closly for four years now and understand how satan can take everyone down when adultry and divorce are apart of our lives. I want back what he stole from all of us 8years ago, I want Rick and I to be a testimoney for others going through this or even ones thinking about giving into adulty or divorce! I ask fro prayer for God to soften Ricks heart towards me and remove the woman that has been in his life for the last few years, (under much strain and distress to my boys) and Rick too!
Please let me hear feed back you may have.

I know that you hurt
I pray that God heal your heart
I pray that he bless you to walk
a clean and holy life.
I pray he hold you so tight that no
temptation for drinking or of sexual sin
ever befall you again.
I know you are white as snow covered by his blood
and applaude the strength you now possess
I pray for this situation,
that God will work his will.
Its difficult to even give good counsel.
So I give this to Jesus.
Lord I trust you with this.
Lord work your will here
for Rick had a right to move on...
and deserves not to have two relationships destroyed
his marriage with Terri and this one
Yet I know you can heal
Bless Terri to become whole
in herself and heal wounds
of her past and past rejections.
Bless her to turn totally to you in her pain
and to focus on who she is to be in Christ
Teach her its alright to be single
for a time, and she has you right now as her spouse.
Set her feet on solid ground
and bless her children to walk in you as well
Comfort them and keep them separate from
the yearnings and conflicts of their parents
Let them have peace and be protected from
what their young hearts should not bear.
Thank you for leading Terri here
and allowing me to pray for her.
We love her Lord.
God do open her first husbands heart
and let there be healing

Father God, I thank you for this sister calling on you in her time of need.

I thank you for her love for you and that she knows and worships you! Bring her to the point Father that you are the "love" of her life and then all things will be added unto her.

I pray and agree with sister Christy and she prayed everything I could pray.

May your peace, content and love be upon this sister's heart, mind and life and may the name of Jesus in her life be lifted higher and higher!!

The Bible says we are drawn away enticed by our own lusts.... We can blaem the devil, in part, but we make choices. Those choices can greatly alter the course of our lives. God has forgiven you, and you can move on in Him with that assurance. Now, you need to just focus on loving God. I think you are buying into the lie that it is not OK to be single and you just want to be with someone. You are trying to do it the Biblical way. But the bottom line is: You need to get whole in God. Be SINGLE MINDED right now, focus on loving Him and making Him Your all. He loves you so much, and he desires to pour out an awesome sense of his love and grace on You. I pray you will take quiet time with Him, just get quiet before Him, be STILL and know that He is God. He will touch in such special ways during that time. As you do this day by day, You will fall so in love with HIm, you will quit wanting a man, first husband or otherwise, and will just want God. It is by seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness that all things will be added unto you. So just give this situation to God and love on Him.

Lord, fill terrianna so full of You, she desires none but You. In Jesus Name, amen.

Lord, I come to you in prayer for Terri.

Help her and bring her into your perfect will for her life.

I bless her with healing and wholeness.

Restore her and show her just what to do and say.

Give her children the blessing of peace in their lives. Guard and keep them.
