"...In every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."
Philippians 4:6 KJV
"Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me. Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High. What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil."
Psalm 56:1-5 KJV
"...We have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God,...an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities....Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."
Hebrews 4:14-16 KJV
"Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee."
Psalm 33:19-22 KJV
"Deliver me, O LORD, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me."
Psalm 143:9 KJV

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Explosives experts found the bodies of two missing American soldiers tied together with a bomb between one victim's legs after searchers were led to the remains by physical evidence and tips from Iraqis, the military said Tuesday.
But Maj. Gen. James D. Thurman, commander of the 4th Infantry Division, said it was too early in the investigation to comment on whether the soldiers died during an insurgent attack on a U.S. Army checkpoint, or were abducted and killed later.
He also declined to give more details about the June 16 attack that ended with Pfc. Kristian Menchaca of Houston and Pfc. Thomas Tucker of Madras, Ore., missing. Spc. David J. Babineau, 25, of Springfield, Mass., was found dead at the scene.
"We've brought in forensics experts and criminal investigators to get to the bottom of this and we will not stop until we've got the facts," Thurman said at a news conference.
The bodies of Menchaca and Tucker were found the evening of June 19 after a search by 8,000 U.S. and Iraqi soldiers, dubbed Operation Fallen Eagle. The remains were not recovered until the next morning, after an Iraqi civilian warned that bombs had been planted in the area.
The military said six roadside bombs had to be dismantled, and explosives experts then found the bodies were b o o b y - t r a p p e d with a bomb between one of the soldier's legs.
"The engineers successfully cleared the IED (improvised explosive device) and the surrounding area to allow recovery of the remains," a military statement said.
A U.S. military officer said last week that one and possibly both soldiers had been tortured and beheaded. Thurman would not discuss the condition of the bodies, except to say they had been "brutalized."
The remains were sent to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware for DNA testing and the identities were confirmed.
Al-Qaida in Iraq claimed it killed the two men, saying the successor to slain leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi had "slaughtered" them, according to a Web statement that could not be authenticated. The claim was made in the name of the Mujahedeen Shura Council, an umbrella organization of insurgent groups.
The bodies were found next to a road near a power plant near the village of Mufaraji, northwest of Youssifiyah, 12 miles south of Baghdad, the military said. The region is commonly called the Triangle of Death because of the frequent ambushes of U.S. and Iraqi troops.
Thurman said he did not want to speculate on the motive for the attack, but added: "I believe that al-Qaida is associated with a majority of attacks ... in and around the area where we found the soldiers."
Two al-Qaida in Iraq terrorists, including a senior lieutenant, were killed in the search and 36 were detained, including two who admitted they were al-Qaida members and were captured in the vicinity of the bodies, the military statement said.
The military had said earlier that one U.S. soldier was killed and 12 were wounded during the search. The latest statement, however, said no troops were killed in the operation.
Thurman said more than 300 documents, CDs, videotapes and a global positioning system were seized during the search. He said he had not seen any videos of the killings of the soldiers.
Key evidence was found on the second day of the search in a truck discovered at the power plant and near a canal along the entrance of the complex indicating the soldiers had been there, Thurman said. He also said tips from detained Iraqis and residents helped guide the search.
Questions have been raised about how the three U.S. soldiers, assigned to the 1st Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division from Fort Campbell, Ky., ended up alone in a Humvee to guard a hydraulic bridge over a Euphrates River canal.
Strict military procedures require units to travel in groups of no less than three vehicles, and say soldiers in a single Humvee should never be alone. Because of that, few American soldiers have been captured by insurgents in Iraq.
The Army has said only that the three soldiers were left alone while other vehicles in their patrol moved out of sight to inspect traffic.
Earlier reports said the three Humvees became separated under fire. But those reports appear to be wrong, Lt. Col. Michelle Martin-Hing, a spokeswoman for the U.S.-led coalition in Iraq, has said.
