Prayer for Office Move

Please pray that all we go well with our office move. It seems like this move is not going to be good for me. Many new people and one person that has been here a while. This one person is causing me stress. She is making the new people think that she has the most important job, which she doesn't. There are two students with us and she doesn't want them by her so she is telling the people setting up the move that they should be by me. I rarely need the help of students. I am very upset about this, she pretends to be my friend but she would stab me in the back if it came to that. Please, I need prayer about this situation. I really don't know what to do.

Turn this over to the Lord if you can and let Him have complete control of it. If you are His child, He will defend you if need be and say a prayer for this friend whom you feel could backstab you.
I pray you would be granted favor and grace from the Lord and that you would realize that you are important to the Lord and that He would give you the confidence in Him to know that. we are not to compare ourselves with others for in His eyes there is no one more "important" than another. This is the world's way and if we follow Christ, we know there will be trials and tribulations but it is His way of maturing us and wanting us to show the love of Christ to others.
I pray the Lord would show you in this situation what you need to say and do that would cause you the least friction among the others whom have already been there and that you would become friends with them and enjoy your new job.
Do your best to not allow this "one" person to cause you stress. She very well may be somewhat intimidated by you and fears you may outdo her or climb the ladder before her.
The only power she has on you is what you allow her to have! God is greater than any power and I pray you will call upon Him and He would show you the way you should act, react and that He would give you the strength to ignore the situation unless it becomes such that would or could be trouble for you in you job.
God will guide and direct you if you will listen to His voice and leading. I pray you will have the confidence of the Lord within you to know that He is able to help you in this concern in your life.

Lord, I come to you in prayer for this office staff.
I pray wisdom and peace and order over the whole thing.
I ask for blockades to be torn down and for doors to open.
Please allow this move to be a blessing and help the work get done efficiently.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.
As a mother who has had students serve in this way, I would rather have them near you where you can teach them and help them than near her.
Just a thought...
