Please help us

My husband told me tonight that he was unhappy and needed to move out of the house for a while. We will be married 17 years on August 4. This is the first time he has ever said anything like this. We have two beautiful children and this is going to crush them. I begged him to reconsider and told him that I have been praying for him because I think he is depressed. He says that he has been praying about it, too. I love him so much and I do not believe in divorce. Please pray that Jesus heals my husband so that he can see us clearly. We have too much at stake!

Dear Lord, I pray this husband will see YOU clearly. What he needs, Lord, is YOU. I pray he will seek first the kingdom of God and Your righteouness. Remove his fleshly, self-centered desires. Let him love the Lord his God with all his heart, soul, mind and strength and love his neighbor (wife & children) as himself. Transform him, Lord, into the image of Your dear son. Change him from glory to glory. Apprehend this husband, calling Him to seek YOU, the fountain of living waters. I pray he will not follow the vein philosiphies of men. Let him seek YOU, continually, and he will find that he is breaking Your law and Your heart. Divorce was given because of hardness of heart. Soften this man's heart. Let it be tender towards You. Let him turn his eyes on, YOU, Jesus, and off of what is causing him to think divorce is OK. May his attention be on God, and let him desire to honor God in ALL ways. I praise You for calling him in to that secret place with You, that inner most chamber of The King (may it be so!) where he will hear Your Still Small Voice telling him not to divorce. Lord, he says he it praying, too. So, speak to him plainly. As he prays, get ahold of his attention in a life changing way! RUIN him for You! Father, I ask and pray it, in Jesus Name, amen!

Praying for your husband to understand that the Father isn't kidding when He say He "hates divorce" and for the man to trust Him to lead to resolution of any problems. Praying for wisdom for you both and for healing and restoration of the marriage.

You've been married much longer than I have, but I'm in the same boat. But my husband just up and left for the third time.

Lord, we stand in agreement for the renewing of this man's mind. Please intervene precious Savior, let him see you and the healing that you can bring to his soul. Satan, we bind you in the name of our father Jesus Christ. You have no authority over this man. Lord heal this family. Restore and renew. We give you all the glory, for you are God. Thank you Father. Your will be done.

Lord, please open his eyes and open his heart.
Send voices that he will hear to speak truth into his life.
Change circumstances to bring their home back into alignment with your will.
Comfort their hearts and guard their children.
