Very big...

I'm mentioning this again as I think it's EXTREMELY huge.

Yesterday morning in the very early AM I saw that a new AP article appeared about a new book of Psalms that was recently discovered. They were found in a bog in Ireland and the pages are from around 800-1000 AD.
The book was found opened to Psalm 83.
Psalm 83 has to do with God hearing complaints of other nations trying to destroy Israel.

In my opinion this find and the Psalm displayed is God saying IN PUBLIC that He will save His people. That this is a form of comfort to His people that He hears their prayers and their cries. Also this is a warning to the enemy in the spiritual realm. With all that is going on currently I do not find this to be a coincidence.

I also find this SO like God to do stuff like this. A book of Psalms found in a BOG in Ireland?! How humorously random! LOL! Of course not random for Him as He's known about this all along but still. So funny! ;>

Also when you read Psalm 83 here is some notes to make it clearer:

Edom and Ishmaelites: Southern Jordan and Saudia Rabia (sp)
Moab: central Jordan
Hagrites: Syria and Arabia
Gebal: Southern Jordan
Ammon: Southern Jordan
Amalek: Sinai Desert
Philistia: Gaza Strip area
Tyre: Southern Lebanon
Assyria: Syria/Iraq

Hopefully I got all that spelled and matched correctly.

Anyhoo I've not heard or read anywhere online of people picking this up.
Gotta get the word out and thought I'd start here.

EDIT 7/27/06 The Psalms themselves are not new and they are not add ons. The actual book or manuscript itself is a new find. Just to clarify...

personally, I don't get too excited about a "new gospel". Be careful what you choose to believe. Right before the Davinci Code movie there was talk about the gospel of Judas.

I don't draw the same conclusions that you do, though. Does a loving Father want his children disciplined by anyone else but him? I don't think so. From the Psalm we see many enemies of Israel seeking to destroy her. God has and will avenge her, but He will ultimately discipline her as well.

First of all I do pray for Israel. I pray that the leaders of israel and the supporting countries will stop giving away her lands to its enemies, like it did with Gaza. I think God will judge Israel and its allies for this.

Next, 1 Peter 4:17 says that judgment will begin first, with the house of God! Who is the house of God? Well, its the family of God. Both the natural family and the adopted family. The Jew and the Gentile convert. them and us!

Now look at Revelation 6: 9-11. Who's blood will be avenged? I think it is the blood of the prophets slaughtered between the fields and the altars of Jerusalem. Who slaughtered the prophets? the people of Israel: The Pharisees!

When the judgment begins it will begin first with the house of God! The nations will be judged at a later time. All the nations will stand judgment before God one day.

Further readings on the judgment of Israel, and God's plan to give all that turn back to Him salvation according to Romans 11:26:

Exekiel 34:16
Zecharaih 13:8,9

I strongly recommend you read all these scriptures.

Was just reading on The Elijah List website a new article about the recent Psalm findings in Ireland.
The end of article said that this past Monday that Jerusalem's Cheif Rabbi called for world wide prayer for Israel. The prayer was to begin on Tuesday and one of the three texts given to pray was the 83rd Psalm.

Yes I do believe God confirms his word in the world and also in our personal
life I could write a book on the number of times he confirmed things to me.
Maybe I was a slow learner.
Interesting when the Tsunami hit Indonisia and part of Southern India ;there was a NEWS SEGMENT in Canada on CBC TV about the Apostle Thomas .
In this News cast they pointed out that Thomas had travel to the Southern shore of India approximately 2000 years ago. To this small village. Now way back then he built a marker of stones approximately 300yards from the water . And he built a church away from the water on the otherside of this stone marker. And Legend has it that he spoke and prophesized over the
marker saying; " And the waves shall come no further than this marker ".
And in our time when the Tsunami hit the people of this village were all familiar with the Legend that was handed down from generation to our Generation. Now what happened when this same Tsunami hit Indonisia and this Southern shore the people of the village all ran into the church found by the Apostle Thomas and all remained dry. AND THE WAVES CAME NO FURTHER THAN THEE STONE MARKER.
Now I believe that Thomas knew what Jesus had said concerning when the earth travails like a woman giving birth then my coming is near.
A stone marker as I feel represents a time line and we are called the Lively stones.
I find this amazing and a real Faith builder.
So I agree with the post above what are the chances of this Book of psalms being opened to PS 83.
A group of the prophetic at a conference in Edmonton , Alberta,Canada;at Joseph's Storehouse (Shakers Acres)
were given PS 2 in the Span of a week as well as Myself recieving the same word at a church called Abundant Life.
I am always amazed when the media which appears to be so far from the truth presents something that confirms the word. Mind you I have been praying for this too.Also i am thankful to God every time he confirms his word to this world.
