Depressed and lonely - backslidden friend.

This is how I would describe my friend, he has dropped out of church,
he know only comes to the library to read magazines, has no job,
1 dog...and no church membership...he dropped out years ago...
I feel that God, is leading me to him again, I used to talk to him,
encourage him,
I just talked to him, and told him that I felt GOD was pursuing him...
He said he was in pain... and had to get better first.
Well, he left looking just as sad as I talked to him as...
PRAY that GOD will Pursue HIM with HIS love, that he will be touched
with a mighty touch from GOD, to inspire him, to start swimming upstream
where as the righteous grow brighter and brighter...
Let there be light and love in his darkness.

Lord Jesus we bind this spiritual darkness from this friend, and Lord let your light shine brightly on him, and draw him back to you and church. Lord open his eyes to see the truth, and to stop listening to satan and his lies. Lord send him strong mature christian friend into his path to influence him to come back to you . Lord let forgiveness and encouragement flow freely on him, and take the pain of life away and show him your mighty love, shower him with your love and that he will be able to feel your presence and love. In Jesus name Amen
