Thorns? Pain? Ask Him, He Knows...

Hello all, I'm new here today~but I want to tell you that God is aware of exactly everything you are going through. I believe he sent me to this board to encourage you and to stimulate you to share with others what I'm going to tell you. Remember this: MANY ARE THE AFFLICTIONS OF THE RIGHTEOUS, BUT GOD DELIVERS THEM OUT OF THEM ALL!!!
I, too, have been living through some of the toughest times that I have ever faced. Now I know why. The Lord Jesus wants you to realize that before you can pray effectively, that you need to understand WHY YOU ARE SUFFERING. Until you do, it will go on and on. This is a place where few dare to tread. This is the Word that I believe God has sent me to tell someone. You need to understand. "NEVER DOES A DROP OF BITTERNESS FALL INTO THE CUP OF A CHRISTIAN THAT GOD DOES NOT ALLOW" ~and yes, He will deliver you at the right time. Here is what he taught me.
There are several reasons he allows thorns, pain, sickness, enemy onslaughts....TO GET YOUR ATTENTION! In order to pray effectively, you need to know why. Is it chastisement, or is it an onslaught from Satan? Could it be a secret sin that will become deadly? Or is it simply a pruning? Not because you are not fruitful, but because you are worth pruning. Or could it be to strengthen your testamony? Ask Him. Have I done something to cause this? If it is an onslaught from the enemy, you will need to stand on the Word and use it against the evil affliction. Because of ignorance many die prematurly (if they don't recognize the works of the enemy) but you have the keys to life in the word. Speak them over the situation .
If it is to correct you, then it helps to know that God is sending a "Rod of Chastisement". You will need to ask him to remove it~ if it is his will through his grace & mercy (and you confess, and forsake the sin, if you have been shown that is the problem) . He may remove it then or he may wait a bit longer. Keep your eyes on him and identify with the risen Christ!!! you must submit to it as a submissive child and when you realize this, instead of trying to wiggle out of the situation, you are almost there!You are the clay and he is the potter. He is forming you and like the gold in the crucible, until the dross is gone...you will need to ask the Holy Spirit for his strength & power to endure till he's finished. If you don't know or understand what he is telling you, then I'll be glad to join you in prayer. When he is finished, he will use you to bring him glory. Hard times are not forever. He has not forgotten you. We, as Americans don't always understand because we are very spoiled and our faith is weakened by it. I believe God is using some to show what his power really can do. Do you have a flesh mentality or do you relate with the risen Christ? God is not looking at your problems, he is looking at your faith. The problem is this. Do you believe the world or him? Get your eyes off the problem and on to the problem solver. Then they will be put in right perspective. Lets pray!!!
I'll send you the lesson in a step by step form but it's a bit long to put on this message form. I look forward to new friendships as well as prayer partners ! He Knows all about it, and you will be delivered. The cup is not poison, it is healing medicine...if you drink and don't try to evade it.
Every one wants prayer for the pain, but until you identify the root..how can you then know his will ? Does he want us well and spiritually healed and prosperous? Yes! But like little children that try to evade correction, sometimes we try to squirm out od the situation without learning why we got there in the first place! Take a lesson from Peter: Don't look at the waves! If you look at the waves(problems) you will sink! Keep your eyes on Jesus and identify with the risen Christ!

Dear Lilli....thank you....You have opened my eyes and given me answers to why my last 40 years have been so very harsh and especially the last 5.....the last 4 have been in building up my faith and this past week almost toppled it ....Ive learned that the closer I draw to Jesus...the harder Satan is trying to stop it....but im not letting him....Ive learned that the house my children have lived in almost all their lives and everything in it is just stuff....and stuff is not important....ive learned that the Love that Almighty Papa God has for us is so all consuming that nothing else should ever matter to us...and Ive learned how to pray....always in Jesus' name...always believing that you receive what you are asking for if its the correct thing...and yes that miracles do happen...my 3 children ... that God blessed me with the care of are proof of that....and Ive finally come to learn that Jesus is always with me where ever I am and what ever comes...He is always with me....and in knowing this....I am losing that biggest sin....fear....I could have curled up in a ball this past weekend and let Satan have his will....but God told me to stand up and let Him fight this fight....and I am....and because its in Gods hands...I know in my soul....we are ok....and thats a mighty fine feeling ....
