god's moving

Hey guys

I just wanted to tell you all what God is doing in my life. most of you know i worked at the ranch again this year. It was amazing every week we had at least one camper come to Christ and up to eight a week. I was so blessed to be part of it.



Another thing God is doing is answering my prayers and dreams of being a missionary. I have been praying since i was real young where God wants me to go and when. In the last couple months i asked Him to blunt with me. i warn you if you ask God to be blunt be prepared. I was in a laundry mat a month or two ago looking through the magazines that were on the table. I found a bunch of Christian magazines there which seemed odd but i looked at them anyways and i opened the first on and it was all on India. the next 3 also talked of India. I knew this was God telling me India but i guess He wanted to continue to confirm it. A few weeks ago i was getting into my bunk bed to listen to music and possibly do a puzzle before i went to sleep, when i looked on the floor and saw a book. Before i tell you about the book i want to share with you that i very well could have messiest bedroom you have ever seen. Alli you can confirm this. Lol. Anyways i looked down and there was a book called Revolutions in Missions

it came from Gospel for Asia, i got it 3 years ago to go with my senior project and it has been in the exact place since is my bet. I picked it up and decided what the heck i will read this tonight. I looked at the cover and it had two Indian men on it then i read the forward and learned the author was Indian and was a missionary in india as well. The whole book was about missions in Asia mostly India. At this point I was like ok God but why India. i have wanted to travel all over the world but India never came to mind. I still do not know why and probably won't till i go.

Then almost two weeks ago I was working at the ranch. It was PAYC week and i had nursery duty. Mike and i went and there was lady there that asked us where we went to school and what we wanted to do when we were done. I told her that i was going to take at least a semester off and that i wanted to do some mission trip or travel. She asked where i would go if i did do missions and i told her about India and how God was showing me that is where he wants me to go. she told me of two missionaries that where there at the ranch as speakers for payc. She told me that they serve in India, I was amazed what are the chances that they would be here as I am searching for an organization to go with and learning that I am to go to India. throughout the day people continued to ask me about my plans and they all told me to find Nan and Gene and some pointed me out to them. I was hesitant to talk with them i tend to be shy but i had a peace about it so i did talk with them. They told me about what they do. Nan teaches a Bible school in May that she told me that she usually takes 6-12 people with her and that if i meant to go i can probably go with them in may. It would be 3 weeks long and cost around 1500-2500 dollars. Right now I am at the low end of this but I have a start which is amazing. They told be to continue to pray for the trip and the will of God in it . Also for them Along with praying for finances and sharing with people about the trip and India, allowing them to pray and support me financially. I am not yet sure if this is the right trip or not but it seems to fit. why else would i have met them. I ask all of you to pray for me as i prepare for India. I am a little anxious about it because i wanted to go sooner but God's timing is better than mine and i trust him. They also told me to get involved in teaching Sunday school which i have been kind of doing all summer teaching Bible round up. So i ask that you also pray for a door to be opened in this area as well since we do not have a Sunday school for kids at my church because there are no children. Ask God to either send kids my way or to send me somewhere else to get some experience. we do have Wednesday school still but it is a at home ministry that our pastor does so maybe i can help with that like i have in the past when it was at my church. Please pray for all these things for me.

So this is what God is doing for me. i would love to know what is going on with you all and God. please do not hesitate to share with me. i love to see what God is doing in the world and i will pray for you if you need it.

O dear gracious God, please do most mercifully finish what you started. Please provide ever so graciously for her ministry. Please give her strength and support as she prepares for this endeavor. Please equip her for this journey and let it be a most awesomely blessed ministry. I ask in Jesus name I pray, Amen.
