Ten Commandments

Tonight I was sitting here at my computer reading through this book of quotes I have called "Abounding Grace" by M. Scott Peck, M.D. and I came across the following quote:

"Today you can post the Ten Commandments in Moscow public schools, but it is illegal to do it in the United States." -Michael Levine
After I read it I just felt compelled to post it on here. I really think it is something we all need to think and pray about.

Father, I ask for the return of Your Commandments and precepts to public places for the education of our people- especially our children. We now have a nation of violent, indecent, disrespectful and illiterate young people because of this. I invite You to again show Your presence in our schools and public places. We have wandered astray in our willingness to allow the few unbelievers to influence public policy. I ask You for Your forgiveness. I ask You to make a mighty stand in our nation again. In Jesus precious Name I ask these things. Amen.
