Megan, you are a Registered Jr. That means that you can not receive or send PM's to others on the board. Hope that helps.

Megan,

Here is a little more information. Hope it helps

REGISTERED JR.

May...

Post Threads and Reply to Threads.

MAY NOT...

Send Private Messages, E-Mail, Edit or Delete their Posts or Change their Profile.

A User is demoted to Registered Jr. when they abuse the PM system by spamming
or when other Users complain about their PMs

OR

If an Active Member decides to take a Sabbatical from the board
their rank is lowered so their PM box doesn't overflow.

Hmmmm... That excerpt seems a bit disembodied without the rest of the text...

I will make a thread in this forum explaining the different rankings for everyone.

Isn't this ranking (Jr) also used for young members for their protection?

That is what I understood was the case.

They are permitted to use the board, but guarded from involvement with strangers.

Safety is important, Megan.

Yes Rachel, that is why there is a "Jr" attached instead of some other name for it.
