A WONDERFUL VISITATION FROM THE LORD
God recently granted me a wonderful visitation and I'm sure the
accumulation of prayers and intercession helped to bring heaven's
touch to earth.
As manh prayers were so instrumental in releasing this experience, I
pray that God brings you a heavenly visitation like this one in the
days and months to come. As you read this, let your hope be stirred
that God answers prayer and is on the move. I don't believe God gave
this experience for me only, but to let you know that He is getting
ready to release a holy invasion in this hour.
POOLS OF GLORY
I'm going to make an attempt to paint in words an experience the Lord
allowed me to have as a forerunner for you-- while in Washington D.C.
last week. Picture yourself lying flat on the floor, the consuming
fire of God moving over your entire body with the Spirit of burning
causing your frail human vessel to shake under its power.
You're not sure how long you've been there, but you know you never
want to rise out of this very holy and intimate place. As you lie
there, you begin to feel the presence of Jesus radiating out from your
being into a twenty-foot sphere of glory.
As you sit up, the heavenly portals open wider and a heavenly pool of
glory forms at your feet. Suddenly people rush toward you, only to
fall to the floor as they enter the pool and God grips and shakes them
in His passionate embrace of fiery love.
A SOVEREIGN LAUNCHING
All the while you are simply sitting there doing nothing, saying
nothing, just as overwhelmed and radically touched as they are. You
sit there while the power and heavy glory of God begins to move like
hot velvety gold throughout the room.
When you are finally able to get to your feet, the atmosphere is
saturated with His presence. Bodies are lying all over the room and
others are rushing forward to encounter this awesome sphere of glory.
You just point to a section in the room and whole groups of people
would go down. You can feel the angelic and visitation realms as
heavenly portals open.
For hours, waves of His presence sweep across the room, bringing an
astounding impartation and weight to the sanctuary. At one time a
pool of intercession opens in the room, igniting flaming fires for the
lost. Your mouth releases fiery prophetic words, awakening destinies
and purposes. You have just been given a new mantle and are being
launched sovereignly into a whole new place. Sound good? It is!
But, it's only the beginning of what God wants to give to all of us.
Now I'll tell you the rest of my story.
INAUGURAL WEEKEND
The weekend of January 20th and 21st found me in Washington, D.C.
attending the Third Annual Inaugural Prayer Breakfast for
President-Elect George W. Bush on the morning of his inauguration.
It was such an exciting time! We could feel the birthing of the
governmental shift in the Spirit before the meeting even started. I
was honored to attend and to see so many old friends and make many new
ones.
That Saturday night I ministered at Chevy Chase Baptist Church with
Overflowing Life Ministries. God moved powerfully that night in
healing. One woman came in wearing heavy braces, with two broken
ankles, and left dancing without them. It was an evening where
everyone prayed for everyone, radical deliverance happened and
impartation intermingled with prophetic words.
SEEING IS BELIEVING
On Sunday evening, Tracy Ruleman (our head intercessor) and her
husband, David, and I joined Pastor Dennis and Donna Pisani at Glory
Tabernacle. I had met a wonderful prophet, Jan Painter out of
Louisville, Kentucky, at the prayer breakfast. She and a former
pastor of mine, Dr. Gary Greenwald, were ministering there that
weekend .
When Jan and I first met, she had a glimpse into eternity and saw
something God wanted to bring to earth. What she saw was a new
garment He wanted to give me, but she was waiting for God's timing to
bring it into being and invited me to come to their meeting.
DIVINE AMBUSH
When I attended this meeting, I had no idea that God had brought me to
this governmental city, on the inauguration weekend, to use three
apostolic/prophetic vessels to raise me out of Joseph's dungeon and
governmentally establish me in a new place. This is only part of a
prophetic journey that I'm on, like many of you. There are many
installments as He establishes us into the 21st century.
That night, after the worship service, she called me to the front and
framed what she had seen with words and spoke prophetically. That
brought the mantle from the heavenlies into this present realm of
time. God Gives Witness.
Pastor Pisani anointed me with oil and Dr. Gary Greenwald joined in
as they prayed for me. I was slain in the Spirit, which normally
doesn't happen to me. The Lord gave witness from heaven and the glory
of God fell on me first, then it moved sovereignly throughout the
room.
Gary began to speak about the mantle of visitation and glory I've
carried for years. He was reminded of a video he saw of a leadership
meeting in New Zealand where I had ministered. He had watched a pool
of glory coming into the room while I invited the New Zealand pastors
to get into it. As they entered it, Gary shared that God had so
change their lives and ministries that it brought a move of the Spirit
to the entire nation.
FAITH COMES BY HEARING THE WORD OF GOD
The faith level in the room began to soar as Gary was speaking. Here
again was a framing with words that brought into the realm of time the
things of the Spirit. Jan saw the pool of glory around me as I was
lying on the floor and told the people what she was seeing. They
spontaneously got out of their chairs and ran to my feet where they
encountered the glory of God.
I WANT TO MAKE YOU SO HUNGRY FOR GOD THAT . . .
I'm relating this wonderful experience with you to encourage you!
What I want is to make you so hungry for what God is doing that you
will not be satisfied with anything less. What happened to me is just
a picture of what God wants to do for all that thirst after Him. He
wants to release realms of glory and He wants to use you and me to do
it. The Lord is bringing a holy invasion of heaven to earth.
THREE PROPHETIC KEYS:
* We see it in the realm of eternity. * We speak it, framing it in
words, which brings it into the realm of time. * God gives witness
from heaven.
A CHALLENGE TO THE APOSTOLIC LEADERSHIP
* Have you established the prophetic in your movement? Yes, the
prophetic should operate in the back rooms and in the marketplace of
everyday life, but seasoned prophetic voices should also be given a
platform in the church to help establish and put into place the
mandates of the Lord.
* Where is the clarion call of the prophetic that is sounding forth
with cutting-edge accuracy? Could they be sitting in your pews
waiting to be released? The way to break judgments off the prophetic
and unlock them is to establish them.
* Do you have prophetic voices giving divine strategies for your
church? Do they give confirmation and clarity? Does the government
of God back them up? If so, are they backed up by you?
MORE AFRAID OF A FEW PROPHETIC FLAKES THAN BARRENNESS?
* Are you more afraid of a few "flakes" than you are of barrenness?
Have you judged the entire prophetic movement by one or two voices
that fell into sin? Wisdom is needed and it is important that
character and humility has been worked into their lives. I'm not
talking about budding voices that have not spent their time in the
wilderness of training and equipping, but rather mature, proven
vessels.
* The heavy mantle of government that rests on you as apostolic
leaders must be used to recognize and establish the seasoned, mature
prophetic voices in your midst while allowing the young eaglets to be
raised up under their wings.
* God wants the prophetic, in fact-- all believers, to be golden
retrievers. Carriers who can see things in the realm of the eternal,
bring it into the realm of time, frame it with words and establish it
in the earth.
TIME TO RELEASE SOME OF THE HIDDEN "JOSEPH'S"
* We're coming into a season of release for some of the hidden
Josephs. The apostolic and prophetic are going to be taken out of
their old, tattered garments and adorned with new mantles of
government-- wrought in the fires of affliction. They will be clothed
in humility and intimacy. Are you ready?
