My husband has served in a main streem extremely conservative denominational church in the hotbed part of the city here for 15 years. He is burned out and the congregation has evidenced little fruit leaving my husband (their minister) doing all of the things a church would require (cutting the lawn, typing and copying the bulletin).
It would be a blessing if we could have your prayers regarding clear direction of where the Lord would have us to go. His current church is unable to pay him more and more. He seems unmotivated to follow through with pursuing other options but agrees he can not continue as it is.
Please pray for a revival in our hearts that will lead us closer to where Jesus would have us to be. Please pray for an annointing so that the gifts of the spirit are evidenced. Lastly, PLEASE pray for a breaking away from being anxious to please and the denominational strongholds that attempt to stifle the full expression of the Holy Spirit within us. Thank you for your prayers!

Hint: If your husband is a Pastor you might want to take your last name off of your registration. It is not required. You can use initials.
If your name is there it may travel to someone in your church.
It really is a small world.
Lord, I come to you in prayer for this dear Pastor and his wife.
Comfort their hearts and show them the way to go.
I bless them with wisdom and prosperity.
Give them dreams and visions of your will for them.
Surround them with new ideas and give them courage.
Please pour out your Spirit on them and their flock.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.
