prayer for my unborn baby

I am 18 weeks pregnant. Last week I had a triple screen blood test to check for possible downs syndrome. Yesterday I got the results back, The test showed abnormalities. The lady said that it could be because of my age(I'm 41) and that the baby could be just fine. Now I go back to the hospital Monday for a amnioscentesis to find out for sure if the baby is ok. This test carries a possible risk of miscarriage. Please help me pray that the Lords hand of protection be on my baby. Help me pray that I will not miscarry and that the baby will have no abnormalities. I already have a severally handicapped daughter so I know the value of life. I would however love for this baby to be born with no disabilities. Your prayers would be greatly appreciated. Deanne

Deanne, I had the same test done and the test showed abnormalities. I had an amnio done and I am now mom to a healthy 6 year old. I have been praying and will continue to pray.
Father God, calm Deanne fears. Let her be at peace during this time of uncertainty due to this latest blood test. Father, I know that Your hand is upon this precious unborn baby and I thank You so much for that. Be with her as she has this amnio. Let the amnio present no ill-effects to her or her baby. Father, may this precious babe grow and develop healthily within Deanne. May this precious come into this world with no abnormalities. I thank You Father that Your hand is upon Deanne and upon her womb. I thank You for this precious gift of life growing within her right now. Father, hold Deanne and her baby close to You. So be it, Lord, I pray. Amen

Father, continue to be with Deanne. Holding her close to You. Touch her womb and cause this precious babe growing inside of her to be healthy. May she give birth to a healthy baby. Father, let these tests show wrong. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen

O dear gracious God, please have your greatest mercy upon Deanne as you bless her with the mightiest of miracles in her life. Let this baby be in excellent health. Forbid any miscarriages from occuring and see to it that this baby is brough to full term with no adnormalities whatsoever. I ask of you in Jesus name I pray, Amen.
