Jewish man removed from airplane, his offence? praying...
This article says it all when it comes to rules and laws regulating prayer. You won't believe what they are doing now to try and stop religion in public places, that is enless you've been watching events unfold recently. Some fellow passengers are questioning why an Orthodox Jewish man was removed from an Air Canada Jazz flight in Montreal last week for praying.

The man was a passenger on a Sept. 1 flight from Montreal to New York City when the incident happened.

The airplane was heading towards the runway at the Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport when eyewitnesses said the Orthodox man began to pray.

"He was clearly a Hasidic Jew," said Yves Faguy, a passenger seated nearby. "He had some sort of cover over his head. He was reading from a book.

"He wasn't exactly praying out loud but he was lurching back and forth," Faguy added.

The action didn't seem to bother anyone, Faguy said, but a flight attendant approached the man and told him his praying was making other passengers nervous.

"The attendant actually recognized out loud that he wasn't a Muslim and that she was sorry for the situation but they had to ask him to leave," Faguy said.

The man, who spoke neither English nor French, was escorted off the airplane.

Air Canada Jazz termed the situation "delicate," but says it received more than one complaint about the man's behaviour.

The crew had to act in the interest of the majority of passengers, said Jazz spokeswoman Manon Stewart.

"The passenger did not speak English or French, so we really had no choice but to return to the gate to secure a translator," she said.

The airline is not saying if the man was told he was not allowed to pray, but a spokesperson said the man was back on board the next flight to New York.

Jewish leaders in Montreal criticized the move as insensitive, saying the flight attendants should have explained to the other passengers that the man was simply praying and doing no harm.

Hasidic Rabbi Ronny Fine said he often prays on airplanes, but typically only gets curious stares.

"If it's something that you're praying in your own seat and not taking over the whole plane, I don't think it should be a problem," said Fine.

The Jewish group B'nai Brith Canada has offered to help give Air Canada crews sensitivity training.

Lord God, another attack on Jews. I pray for the peace and safety of Your people. Bring them to salvation in Jesus Christ, that they will have faith and hope in these difficult times. Give them the hope of Heaven to carry them through, so they don't just give up and quit. I pray that they will know You and know that any persecution will end in being in Heaven with You. In Jesus Name, amen.

Amen.

KJV 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

KJV John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Lord-

We pray one day again, people will be able to pray in all public situations without transgressions taken against them for that. I pray for your chosen people in this instance to be relieved of attacks and give them the right to pray in all situations again. In Jesus Name- Amen!!

I think this was the judgement call of a stressed employee in a crowded plane.

He was creeping nervous people out and there is no reason for that in this world.

I think he should pray without scaring people, and be sensitive to their concerns.

If he was muslim and dropped to the floor with his rear in the air everyone would want him off the plane.

He wasn't praying silently, he was rocking and chanting.

Mathew 6: 5-6

5 " and when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, they have thier reward.

6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and they Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

KJV Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

KJV Psalm 149:149 Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness: O LORD, quicken me according to thy judgment.

KJV Micah 7:7 Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. 8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me. 9 I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.

A group of Israelis have warned Iran, "Don't mess with Israel"
February 02, 2007
....A group of Israeli citizens have issued an open letter to Iran warning that if they continue along the path chosen by their President Ahmadinejad with intent to destroy Israel and the Jewish people, they will face the consequences....It is a warning that Iran should pay close attention to before it's too late, according to Bible prophecy. The ancient Jewish prophet Ezekiel includes Iran, mentioned as Persia in Ezekiel 38:5, as one of the coalition of nations to come to destroy the Jews and Israel. However, Ezekiel 38:18-23 says that the Lord will intercede against Iran and the others to protect the Jewish state. The truth is, that five of every six people in Iran and its military will be killed when they come to try to take Israel, that's Ezekiel 39:2-6....

Jimmy DeYoung's Prophetic Prospective Daily Devotional (Micah 7:7 - 20)
February 4, 2007
Micah 7:7 Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
....As Micah concluded his prophetic manuscript, he was offering up a prayer, a prayer for his enemies as well as a prayer of confession for himself and his people, the Jewish people. Micah knew the Lord would hear his prayer as he confessed his sin, his sin against the Lord (vs. 9.) The prophet knew he was to bear the indignation of the Lord, until the Lord would execute judgement on the enemies of the Jewish people. Micah's prayer for his enemies was that they might not rejoice over the chastisement of the Lord on the Jews, (vs. 8) but help these enemies to realize that if God could judge His chosen people, He could also bring down judgement on the enemies of His chosen people. Micah said that his enemies would be confounded by the mighty hand of God in judgement (vs. 16.) The bottom line is that God is now judging the Jewish people for sinning against Him and one day will turn that judgement on the enemies of the Jewish people. God will respond to Israel's enemies who say, "where is the Lord thy God" (vs. 10.) He will respond in His time not at their bequest. Before we leave this passage of scripture, may I draw your attention to verse 14. The text says that there will be cattle grazing on the mountains of Carmel and Bashan. The Carmel mountains are on the western side of Israel, near the port city of Haifa. The Bashan mountain range is on the eastern side of the Jewish state. You may know Bashan better as Golan, the Golan Heights. In fact, the word Golan is used four times in the scripture. (De 4:43, Jos 20:8, Jos 21:27, 1Ch 6:71: Golan in Bashan) Today there is cattle grazing in both Carmel and Bashan /Golan, evidence that we are living in the days that Micah was writing about. These are the days God will hear and respond to Micah's prayers and deal with the enemies of the Jewish State of Israel. These are the days the God of Israel will return to forgive the iniquity of the Jewish people and respond to her enemies.
PRAYER THOT: Help me to remember that you Lord will chasten me for my sin - but will forgive me as I turn to you!.
