The reason we know that we aren't supposed to bow down or pray to angels is that in the Word, whenever someone did that the angels always told them not to and told them to worship only God. She is right about the other churches. They all came in some form as break offs or rebellions to the Catholic church. And they did have a LOT to do with forming up the Bible along the way and getting it into its present form. They keep the mass going and I know part of God's calling on them is that at any given moment, somewhere around the world someone is saying mass and holding the host high, proclaiming the Lord's death until he comes. The Catholics are not perfect, and they aren't all bad. They are waiting for Jesus, just like we are... You did very well in a TOUGH situation. Rachel R |
