Ground breaking movie opening

I was not sure where to put this....

But we need to pray for this movie, "One Night with the King," hitting theatres on October 13. This is a Matt Crouch movie (Generation 8x Entertainment) based on the Tommy Tenney book about Queen Esther. I put this in the "Country and Israel" forum, because this could really change the thinking of Americans and others who don't support Israel. This movie is about Esther, from the book of Esther in the Bible, and shows support of Israel. At a time when "the spirit of Haman" seems to be full blown again, we need to be praying for this movie to really have an impact for good for Israel. The message of this movie could not be more timely! They are also saying invite a Jewish person, because this movie will REALLY minister to them. This movie will make them want to stand up and cheer and probably the non-Jewish people, too!

Dear Lord, I have heard nothing but good about this movie. The trailer looks awesome. I pray that this movie has the impact that many are saying it will. Father, this movie not only shows that EACH PERSON has a destiny for which God wants to use them, but it shows increidble support of Israel. I pray that You will use this movie as a mighty tool in Your hands to covince people to stand with Israel. Just as Israel needed someone to champion their cuase back then, so they need that today. This movie is truly coming out "For such a time as this." I know that You have orchastrated this. I know that You have plans for this movie beyond the telling of a great story. Sometimes, we read that story with a sort of ** hum attitude. But to think of Esther, probably very young, standing up for her faith in such a way, is amazing. To see that she would come forward, courageously (inspite of possible death), and take that kind of stand.... puts a challange to all Christians. How it speaks of the persecution many do face and will face, and asks us "What choice will you make?" How, it challanges us, will we stand with Israel, NO MATTER WHAT is politically correct? For, again, today, people are making Israel out to be the trouble maker. Lord, we DO stand with Israel.

We pray that the theatres will be booked solid for many weeks. We pray that this movie will do SO WELL that Hollywood is scratching their heads. Lord, we pray for the success and the impact of this movie to be great. In Jesus Name, amen.

Father, I pray this movie will have a huge impact for Your glory.

I keep hearing these awesome reviews from those who have seen it on the pastor's tour.

Lord God, save many through this movie.

Lead many people into THEIR destiny for such a time as this.

I pray for this movie to result in positive outcomes for Israel. Let people put their support with and behind Israel as a result of this.

I ask and pray, in Jesus Name, amen.

Praying in agreement with you. I saw a preview of the movie on TBN and I immediately became emotional. I firmly do believe there will be a special annointing upon this movie, indeed. Howeve, I am not too familiar with the depths of the bible and anything that has to do with Israel and the book of Ehster. Nevertheless, I will read it in the bible before watching the movie. Most significantly, it is written and the bible is coming to live, amen.

Father, I pray that this movie accomplishes all that You have sent it to accomplish. We were told to take a Jewish person. I do pray with Paul the Apostle that all Israel will be saved. Lord God, whatever part this movie has to play, use it mightily. I heard of John Haggee and his wife's ministry in air lifting Jews back to their country. I just think with this movie coming out from TBN (and John Haggee is on TBN), this could really lead to the salvation of many Jews. They will be curious about someone telling the story of Esther so true to the Torah (Old Testement), and when they find out Christians produced it....and all that Christians do to support and stand with Jews, I feel like this will be used in a mighty way to reach Jews. Father, I agree with LloydAnn's prayer. Let Israel come to know their Messiah. Thank You for this movie for such a time as this. Save Israel physically and spiritually. In Jesus Name, amen.

Right now, Lord the King of Persia (Iran) wants to take out Israel, just as Ahasuerus wanted to. We pray, Lord, that You will send The Church, for such a time as this, as you sent Esther back then. Let us fast and pray that Israel may be saved. Lead those who You call to pray for Israel in this manner. I pray that we will see the tide turned in this current desire of many nations to wipe out Israel. Jan Crouch was told by You that this is a prophecy, and I pray that Your people will hear and understand what the Spirit is saying to the churches. In Jesus Name, amen.

Father God, this movie opens tomorrow. Almost today, as it's 12:59. Lord God, let it open with packed theatres. I pray for huge success and impact of this movie.

Let people know that they have a destiny in You. Let them come out of this movie knowing that You have a particular call on their life, for such a time as this. Renew people in faith. I pray for people to see the truth of Christianity -- we must lay down our lives for You. We must give up all to follow You. Let futures and destinies be forged and cemented. Let people come out with renewed determination to lay their lives down for You, no matter what the cost.

Father, we ask that this movie has it's role in the situation regarding the spirit of Hamen that is in Iran today. This movie is here for such a time as this, for the part it will play in Biblical prophecy. Just as a book (Uncle Tom's Cabin) had much to do with the end slavery, so let this movie be instrumental toward the salvation of Your people, Israel. Lord, these things can be powerful. You can and WILL use this movie to change the attitude of the current king of Iran. Lord, we know that You have planned it's completion at this time ON PURPOSE. You are totally in this. Let everything You have planned in helping Israel be accomplished for this movie.

Lord God, we cover this movie opening in prayer. We lift it up before You to be used unto Your eternal purposes. In Jesus Name, amen.

Dear Lord, Allow this movie, for such a time as this, to make a huge impact for Your Glory and etenral purposes. This is SO way cool! This is SO You! Thank You for allowing me to go. Allow me me to be touched in just the way I need to through this. Touch MANY for Your eternal destiny which You have planned for them. Through "One Night with the King," step in with Your eternal purpose and destiny for Israel. Save MANY Jews through this and also preserve their nation, Israel. Preserve their land! Let it BE their land! I pray that MANY are saved who are not Jewish. Let souls be won to Jesus Christ through this. Call people into their destinies as the moive is playing. Let it be popular, that many return! Let Hollywood be taken by surprise and by storm! I pray great succes, favor and destiny on this movie. In Jesus Precious and Holy Name, amen.

Yes, Lord! See to it that this movie does have the greatest impact in history even moreso than The Passion! Intervene mightly and see to it that this movie changes many lives. Let this movie be a great tool for the building of your kingdom and for the support of Israel! Through this movie, humble the hearts of those who watch it! Let it have the biggest impact of any movie in history! I ask of you most pleadingly and desperately in the mightiest name of Jesus! Amen!

I join everyone in agreement and claim Matthew 18:19, and 20 in Jesus Mighty and POWERFUL name. One of my sisters just came from seeing "One Night With The King" and she said, " it was BEAUTIFUL." She also shared with me how this movie gave her peace, amen! My dear sister Eleonor has always been angry with GOD because of her deep emotional pain. Long story short, it was interesting how she is still on and off angry towards God and YET, the HOLY SPIRIT lead her to see this movie. She told me, " she was telling God before the movie started how she didn't even want to see it but that she still did it. Now thats the leading of the HOLY SPIRIT, amen!

I'm VERY EXCITED to see this movie this Sunday afternoon!!

PS: can anyone please let me know why did Haman want to kill all the Jews and why was his tribe killed by all the Jews? I was told Haman hated the Jews because they killed his tribe. And the reason why the Jews had favor with God to do this was because Haman's tribe was like Sadam, they killed their own and especially the children, innocense. Is there any truth to this?

Lord God, let this movie be even more attended this weekend than the opening weekend. Let it gain momentoum, so more and more people are attending. Lord, I pray this movie stays long in the theatres. Let it impact many lives. Let souls be saved! I have heard that people were saved already as a result of the movie. Let people find their destinies. And let this movie be a mighty weapon in the battle for Israel. I pray that this movie has a mighty impact in the turning of the king of Iran from wanting to wipe out Israel.
