I'm glad that you put me
Through the process of refining,
Cos' you want me to know
That it is You who is purifying.

You will never give me more
Than I can withold
So I gladly submit myself
For the cleansing to uphold.

Not a minute less or not a minute more
Will you let me go
But you sit patiently through the process
Till I am ready to glow.

You give me the patience and the strength
For I need them every moment
That I can be a beautiful ornament
Embedded on your throne.

I wrote these two poems during my afflications & I'm glad that I went through it & came out victorious.

A lovely poem, I will think of that when I do hurt. I will remember your words and think the smith has to do his job for the ring to shine.... God bless you, Ruth
