Write me a message O Lord I do pray
Send it special delivery this very day
May it be one of encouragement and hope
Send me reassurance that will help me cope

With the problems and trials of this earthly life
I live in a world filled with confusion and strife
Remember O Lord when you walked among men
Things are much worse now than they were then

Thank you Lord for sending me this precious word
"I am able" is the powerful message I clearly heard
"I was able to deliver three from the furnace fire
I was able to deliver David out of that clayey mire

Always remember you are my child and I am able
To place a banquet feast on your empty table
Only trust me for nothing is impossible for me to do
What I have done for others I am able to do for you"
