Has anyone downloaded Microsoft's latest internet version -- number 7? For some reason I can not copy and paste an address. After I hightlight the address, when I click "Edit" the "copy" option is not avialable to me. It is laid out different, in that the address bar is above the Menu bar....and isn't is usually below the Menu bar? Any help on what I am doing wrong or how to do this appreciated.

I noticed the problem too as well as it having trouble downloading the graphics here and on other sites.

Use your Ctrl + C to copy a highlighted area

Use Ctrl + V to paste it where you want it.

Right clicking the mouse won't work most of the time.

Thanks Carol! It worked. This is the address to this thread. Well, that's an awesome thing to have learned.

P.S. Awesome! It opened the link, by reopening anointed.net and coming into this thread. Were good to go!

It did one nice thing for me. A smiley appeared on the bottom task bar. When I clicked on it to see what it was, anointed.net opened!!! Like this guy: Now how did THAT happen? I never applied a smiley to the anointed.net icon. But it's perfect!

Jerry or Shawn applied a smilie to the link a few weeks ago. Some sites put a logo on thier link like that.

As far as your browser goes... Explorer is ok I suppose but I use Mozilla's FireFox. A much better browser with tabs like a file box and bookmark menu bar for frequently visited sites. You still need the Explorer sometimes for other sites that are not compatible with FireFox yet, like Yahoo and MSN. You can view most of Yahoo & MSN with FireFox but you cannot do things like play all the games or watch the videos unless you have the Explorer running... not a big consideration for me.

You might want to check out Firefox for yourself.

BTW...
Ctrl + X is the 'cut' function to go with 'copy & paste'.

I found a new option, I am trying. Next to "Tools" is a "Page" drop out menu. I just tried to copy the address, let's see if it pastes in.

Bingo! I can paste it in with either the "Edit" function or use "Page" again.

Thanks for the help. I have always used IE, and it seems to work fine. This one uses "Favorites," but I put anointed.net on the start menu, and it's on the task bar. "Favorites" doesn't seem much quicker than just typing in the websites on the search page.
