Lord our Good Shepherd, bring the finances in to Sharon today, right now. Jesus, you are a God of more than enough, so meet every single need they have. In your name, amen.

I rebuke/bind you poverty, leave this family now and never to come back. I loose finances to come her way now. Devil you are a liar, the Lord is our Shepherd, we shall not want!

Psalm 118:25 Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.

Father God, I lift up this family to You in the name of Jesus. Father I ask that You intervene on their behalf, that they won't be evicted. Lord You say in Your Word that You are the God who supply all our need according to Your riches in Glory by Christ Jesus, so Father I am reminding You of Your word and I thank You for it and that You are watching over Your word to perform it..in Jesus name... and in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I bind satan and his cohorts from interfering with this family's finances..and I loose the finances to come to them in Jesus name.. Father I thank You for hearing and answering prayers...and I give You all the glory, honor and praise in Jesus name...amen !

Lord, I need a miracle. I've got until Friday at 4pm to pay this rent or we are to be evicted by Satuday at midnight. please Jesus, help me again keep the wolf at bay. Bring a miracle yet again.

Help me Lord find the job which is your will for my life. Help me with my health and depression. I praise you God for the miracles you offer me and I believe in your deliverance from homelessness. In Jesus' name I pray Amen

Well, It's day 3 of the homeless family saga.

We open our scene with the two youngest boys, ages 8 and 9 at their grandmothers house. The father of the two boys has gone off to california with his new girlfriend and left his sons with his elderly (75 year old) mother. The youngest of the two boys, Justin threw a rock and broke a kitchen window. Needless to say, the grandmother wants Sharon (me) to pick them up today, instead of tomorrow like they agreed.

Scene change: Phoenix shelter somewhere downtown Phoenix Arizona.
We open to find a population of 75% mexican/american/non english speaking suffering souls and the rest a mixure of black and white americans. No drugs or addicts are allowed, just down on their luck families. It's a noisy place, but clean. Showers are available, but hot water is in short supply. We find our lady of distress, the mother of these four boys rushing to wake the two older boys, ages 14 and 15. Time to put on the ROTC uniform for Jeremy, the oldest of the brood. As per the regulation in the ROTC program, all cadets have to have shiny shoes and a clean uniform, Jeremy is frustrated because he has smuges on his pants from moving them in the truck and his shoes are dull. He infoms his mother that he will get points taken off for sloppyness! As they rush the 30 miles up to the Peoria High school, praying that the gas will hold out and the traffic will ease up, they are late by 4 minutes and so the children must go to "sweep" which means they have to sit in a room, doing nothing until first hour class is over. A punishment for being tardy.

The lady of this story, Sharon, goes to the post office hoping to find her child support check so that she can pay her cell phone bill by today, the due date, so it will not be cut off. But alas, it's not among the junk mail, throw away ads or christian literature she gets handed at the counter. She asks about how she can get a po box and they inform her that she needs a valid address before she can even GET A PO BOX!!! Her frustration mounts higher as she calls the school to let them know about their homeless situation, where she is told the kids may not be able to attend Peoria schools because they don't live in Peoria anymore.

She calls the church she has been attending since the beginning of the year, Calvary Community Church http://www.calvaryphx.com/ unfortunately for her, they can only offer her a list of homeless shelters which is not even as complete as the one she already has. The nice lady behind the church desk offers to pray for Sharon and her family and Sharon gladfully prays in agreement for the Lord's miracles and provisions.

Now she sits at the Peoria Library... wondering what she should do. She can't apply for a job, because she doesn't have a contact phone number after tomorrow (phone will be cut off then) and she doesn't have an address to put on the application. Her frustration is mounting higher and higher.

She reaches out for a word of encouragement from a wonderful Christian website named annointed.net and prays that the Lord will soon end this misery and poverty.

Until next time... the saga continues....

[thank you for your prayers. knowing that God helped you in this situation is a comfort. I am believing in Him to help me.

The shelters are all full today. The one we stayed at, which I thought we could go back to was a 3 day shelter only. I thought it was 30 days, but it's a short term placement. My mistake.

Right now all 4 boys and I are going to go 'camping' out by Lake Pleasent. Since we have camping gear and no place to go tonight I figured we could go out there. We don't have the money to be at an offical campsite, so we will take the little blue Ford Aspire (tiny car!!) and go as far off road as we can without s****ing the bottom.

I will not be able to post for a few days then. So don't worry about us, but please continue to pray for some kind of break through soon!!!

Your grateful sister in Christ,

Sharon
