There is an overwhelming presence

As we come down the home stretch of the Bentley meetings the level of
anointing seems to be increasing. There is an overwhelming presence
of God that is fearful and intoxicating all at the same time. Some
are overcome with joy and laughter while others are broken with tears
and deep conviction, drawn by God's goodness in repentance
NOTE BY STEVE SHULTZ REGARDING UNPRECEDENTED HEALINGS IN ALBANY, OREGON
I've just returned from Nigeria and will now join many of these healing
meetings for the last four nights. (I will post a report shortly regarding
the Nigeria trip--it was AWESOME!)
My thanks to Kary Wilkinson who has been writing updates from these
healing meetings that THE ELIJAH LIST is co-sponsoring. We are having
visitors from all over the United States, and several have come from
outside this country. The reports are really quite unprecedented
in many cases,-- though we are trying not to hype them.
Not everyone is being healed of every disease but many more than I've
ever seen are being healed with more conditions that I've ever
personally seen in my life.
There are a few nights left, Come and join us, bring your friends
and receive, the Lord willing, a miraculous healing in your Body.

His reputation. He heals one instantly, another gradually, and

FINAL FOUR NIGHTS OF MEETINGS --- Report by Kary Wilkinson
As we come down the home stretch of the Bentley meetings the level of
anointing seems to be increasing. There is an overwhelming presence
of God that is fearful and intoxicating all at the same time. Some
are overcome with joy and laughter while others are broken with tears
and deep conviction, drawn by God's goodness in repentance.
Broken lives are being mended and broken bodies are being restored.
Again and again we are humbled and amazed by God's mercy and compassion
on us, ever so grateful that when we ask He comes.
WHAT ABOUT THE ONES WHO AREN'T HEALED?
One of the difficulties with reporting events like this is keeping an
accurate perspective, neither downplaying the miraculous or over
promoting the mild. So here I sit recovering from recent surgery
reporting on the healing meetings!
It's a bit comical really, I could perhaps get very introspective and
begin navel gazing. However since part of the surgery included the
removal of my navel I no longer have that luxury, but we won't go into that.
Seriously though! What about those who come seeking, asking, believing,
and don't appear to receive? How does that legitimately fit into this
outpouring of healing and evangelism? I hate for people to feel negated
as though only the ones who receive their healing count! That can have a
rather nullifying effect on one's soul.
Knowing that this is never the heart of God we grapple some with this.
I know at the beginning of anything new w'ere going to be less effective
than we will be as we mature. The level of prophetic revelation you
walk in your first week of prophesying will certainly be less profound
than it will a year later.
THE BIRTHING OF SOMETHING NEW
God is birthing something afresh here and undoubtedly as we continue
seeking Him for it. There will be transformation-- from glory. . . to
glory. So for those of us who have come seeking and appear to be
empty handed-- what can we take away from all of this?
First, I know that the Father loves me, regardless of the outcome of
these things, He is FOR me.
Second, we continue to seek, ask, and knock, knowing we haven't seen
the fullness but rather a trickle. Third I have been blessed by His
people. They pray, they bless, they encourage, they love. This is a
truly wonderful thing. Though I have not broken through in the realm
of physical healing yet I have been greatly built up being here seeing
God's people loving and caring for each other, honoring and blessing
one another. Coming to seek His face, rejoicing with those who rejoice
and weeping with those who weep. We walk through these places together.
KNOWN BY OUR LOVE
Jesus said the world would know we are His disciples by our love for
one another. If there is anything I have seen at these meetings it is
this. I believe this is part of the reason we are seeing the harvest
we are seeing--- some 63 first-time salvations as well as 50
recommitments. Yes, the power of God is present to heal, yes, the
anointing on the meetings is tangible, but without love it profits
nothing. But we are seeing a truly wonderful blend of these things
and it appears so are the lost.
Another difficulty I have in reporting on these meetings is choosing
which testimonies to share. Every encounter with God is significant
but time doesn't permist sharing every one. It's been my pleasure
to interview many of these people personally and the enthusiasm with
which all the testimonies are shared is convincing proof of the depth
of impact they are experiencing. A full night's sleep to most of us is
no big deal--- but if that's your area of struggle it's the big
breakthrough! I've fished through my ever increasing pile of papers,
pulled out some of the more notable things we ve seen.
SEVERAL PARTIAL AND TOTALLY DEAF EARS OPENED
Eight year old Blair, from Molalla, Oregon who was born deaf in her right
ear, had it completely restored like the other one.
Pat from El Sebrante, CA. had been hearing-impaired his whole life. After
prayer, he began fishing around in his pockets--finally he pulled out some
earplugs. Stuffing them in place he commented, "It's just too dang
loud in here."
Dan from Portland OR. suffered high frequency hearing
loss for ten years received healing.
Danniel was recently released from prison. He came to the meeting and
received the ultimate healing, salvation, and as an added blessing,
God restored the hearing in his right ear that had been lost six years
earlier.
One of the personal highlights for me was a lady named Pat who interrupted
Todd prophesying over someone shouting, "It's all gone, the pain is all
gone!" She had been crippled with arthritis for four years and came
in using a walker. She carried the walker up front laid it aside and
began to bend up and down and finally took off running around the
building. It was priceless. The whole family was shouting and
rejoicing. She's very excited about returning her walker to the Lions
Club and her disabled parking permit to the DMV so she can tell them
"Thanks but I don't need these anymore, Jesus healed me!"
Fran came having already had knee replacement surgery on one knee and
was scheduled in May for the other. After prayer, the pain she'd had
for years was gone in both knees.
Robin from Lyons OR. also received healing in her knees with the pain
gone and mobility restored she was able to bend right down and get up
freely.
Jim came from Florida just to meet with Jesus. He had pain due to bone
spurs in his shoulder for eight months. Surgery had brought no relief.
Jesus not only took away the pain but restored total mobility.
Michele had suffered with TMJ for four years after receiving prayer
she said "it's gone!" She can even chew gum. Andrea had nerve damage
in her arms that manifested in weakness and pain as well as a painful
itching sensation that kept her awake at night. She responded to a word
of knowledge and received total release.
One lady had a tumor shrink in her throat and another
lady with a muscle disease began to run across the altar free of pain
and released in greater mobility for he first time in years. Many
have been healed of various cases of whiplash and back injuries,
arthritis, fibromyalgia, asthma, drug addictions, torments, blood
disorders, broken hearts and depression.
A young girl who was bi-polar came forward to recommit her life to
Christ. After prayer for her condition she reports that the
medication she is on makes her feel like she is overdosing. Her
mother says her body is rejecting the drugs. A woman who was a
steroid dependent asthmatic for 22 years said she sensed God inviting
her to dance with Him. She didn't have enough energy. After the
service, it was as though God reached inside her abdomen and pulled
something out. She had suffered abuse as a child . Now she can
breathe freely, she is not sad anymore. She had been depressed for so
long she forgot what it was like to have joy in her life. Jesus came
and set her free!
A LIFETIME OF ALLERGIES. . . OVER!
Geneva had suffered from allergies all her life. Four years ago she
found out that besides environmental and animal allergies she was
allergic to corn, wheat, dairy, peanuts, and oranges. Eating these
things resulted in asthma, hives and digestive problems. In November
when Todd was with us, he prayed for her. She didn't test right away,
but after continuing to read and pray about healing she got the
courage to try it out. She reports eating everything she was allergic
to and even sleeping with a cat. With no symptoms of allergy, hives
or asthma. Marlene was also healed of allergies she has suffered with
for 28 years.
A woman from Tacoma, Wa. Was instantly healed through the word of
knowledge. She had a gall bladder condition, she had already passed
some 75 stones. She had digestive problems, vomiting, and a bladder
condition with frequent infections. When the power of God came upon
her, her back also went into place.
So, if you're reading this, You're invited to come enjoy the presence
of the Lord with us as He continues to demonstrate His love and compassion
--- in signs and wonders!
