Good evening everyone and happy blessed Thanksgiving.

I was just reading a book about the Holy Spirit and realized a few things. I realized I only pray to God and to Jesus but I seldom ask the Holy Spirit of GOD to guide me, protect me, give me strength and courage to continue with life, and with my current venture with building a biz from home. Basically, I would like to ask everyone for a special prayer request. I am asking to be once again filled and baptized by the Holy Spirit of God. I need to get closer and call out to the Holy Spirit of God in order to love Jesus the way that I should love Him. I'm not at that deep level, don't misunderstand me, I respect, I am grateful to Jesus and have grate compassion for what He did, I know HE IS my salvation but I wish that I could feel what I hear other believers say how much they genuinely love HIM, how HE is everything to them. Please pray my spirit becomes stronger with the HOLY SPIRIT. Dear LORD as you well know, I have been reading a book about the HOLY SPIRIT and realized there is something wrong within me. I should not worry nor feel anxious for anything, nor should I fear. Please Lord fill me with the HOLY SPIRIT to be lead, guided, protected, be given strength, courage and wisdom for all situations in life. I'm not sure what else to say but that I want to be filled and baptized with the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD as I once felt full of joy and I lack a lot of it right now. I want to walk like a victorious christian without any doubt, fear, emotional pain, in JEsus mighty name. Lord I want to be courageous as I speak to others about my biz, I want to feel confident, I want YOUR wisdom and guidance, In Jesus mighty name. Thank you my LORD and savior for all the blessings you have poured unto me and my family, for your protection, for your LOVE.

God bless,

Lorena

Illuminate-

There are some out there, who believe the "Baptism of the Holy Spirit" is seperate from "recieving the Gift of the Holy Spirit". I don't see this difference in God's Word.

God shows on the Day of Penticost" the more than 128 believers saw the Holy Spirit descend upon them as a rushing wind. After that, they spoke in tongues. (This was not the tongues of Angels but of men, diverse languages that allowed thousands of people to be saved, hearing the Gospel preached in thier own languages.)

Yet, we find in Acts, when the first Gentiles Peter preached to also recieved the Gift of the Holy Spirit, they spoke in tongues upon believing in thier hearts. (This was the tongues of Angels).

Recieving this Gift of the Holy Spirit and being "Baptized" in the Holy Spirit are one in the same. Being saved and reborn, I did not speak in tongues the moment I got saved, but happened some time later.

I do not prompt the Holy Spirit to take me over and speak as such for me very often. Only when I feel it necessary in a loss of words to pray. Yet God usaully has the Holy Spirit put words in my mind when praying to say in my own language instead.

Yet, God, thru Christ declares we are only to pray to the Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ and thru the Holy Spirit. If at a loss of words to say, ask the Holy Spirit to intercede for you to your Lord Jesus to intercede and give your petition to the Father- God.

Dear Lord-

We pray that you would open up illuminate's heart and mind to your Holy Spirit's prompting of him. We ask that you would help him recognize and accept the Holy Spirit's touch and leading of your guidance for him. Lord, deepen his relationship with you thru your Word and the actions of the Holy Spirit leading and guidance of him. Help him to realize and feel the Holy Spirit of you all around and in him as he goes thru time and life, growing ever stronger in you thru Jesus Christ and by your Holy Spirit. In Jesus Name- Amen!!
