Hey jerry....I am born again......lived in defacto relationships (4) .....engaged 4 times....ran away.......i am told thru my church....no sex before marriage it is a sin.... i am 45 with MS.....God will heal me....no doubt....but if i never marry....am i never to make love again?.......kellie....bless you

I know that you addressed this to Jerry, Kellie, and I hope you don't mind if I give you some opinions on this...
When God says 'don't' there is a reason.
He tries to help us stay in the safe places.
He isn't making arbitrary rules to control us.
I really believe that he is trying to show us where the landmines are in life so that we won't be blown up.
Sex outside of marriage is a landmine.
It not only damages you at the moment, but it reverberates through your life and harms you and others in a very long term way.
To have sex and then marry really messes up the marriage.
God has many pleasures and joys for us.
We have to trust him and believe that he wants us to be happy.
