Hi there Jerry,

My name is Leah Shenay Wood....I come from Western Australia.....I am a "born again Christian" of about 5 years now....my question is this >>>>>

1. Can a person who commits sin willingly, although feeling very guilty about it.....can they be still covered by Jesus Christs' blood...???

What I mean is I have been sinning lately against christian law lets say, and I have realised it now...but was still pleading the blood of Jesus over myself when I prayed...Do you think I was successful in covering myself with the blood of Jesus during that time....

It may sound like I don't know much about being a christian but I am working on being a better christian ...I have 2 mentors shall I say and a very good Pastor....(Pastor Mike Alexander) from our church in Medina....WA....but I can't discuss my sins with these people, its just too embarressing...so I have come to you to see if you can help me with a few ideas or scriptures to help me out.....my sins are 1. Phoning the psychic help line....2. Phoning the chat line...and 3..not being a very good housekeeper...I am not proud of these sins by a long shot but have covered these sins by Jesus blood tonight during prayer and I will just see what happens....I realise I need will power to stop these 3 sins in particular but was wondering if these 3 sins would be aided by Jesus and the Father at any time....?????

Thanks for reading my message Pastor Jerry... ..I wish you all the best and best of luck with your life and good health and prosperity to follow you where ever you go....ok...from Leah Shenay... h

Leah-

Forgive me for responding, but Moderators do help Pastor Jerry at times when he gets awful busy and just can't cover all responces. So I pray my responce to you will be acceptable.

God always forgives a truely repentant Child of His and usaully chastizes those who want to resist His guidance or leading for some reason.

As long as you are truely repentant of sins in your heart, God forgives you, don't worry on that.

Fact is, there are no perfect Children of God. Many, many fall to repeated sins thru out thier lives. You mentioned the "carnal nature" of man.

God declares there are 3 types- the "natural man" who is unsaved and totally of the world. The "carnal man" who is saved and reborn, but still struggles with worldly influences. Then the "spiritual man" who has risen in developement beyond all temptation and does not sin.

Personally, I haven't met any "spiritual man" Christians as yet. I don't believe there can be, since all men are equally born in sin and falable. True, it's possible since all things are possible in God. Yet, we must get past our constant struggle of God's Gift of "Dominion" since the beginning, to seek off and on to control things ourselves.

Yes, I believe you are covered well by the "Blood of Jesus" in this instance. Do not fear, God has forgiven you.

I pray this helps. God Bless!!

Hi there,

This is Leah Shenay....I fully read what you had to say....and to my surprise I am covered by the blood of Jesus Christ after all.....

I have almost just about stopped the phone chat line business....as I have a husband already but we were having problems...so thats how come the chat line business came about.....but like I said.....I have all but got rid of chat lines in my life now...somebody must be praying somewhere.....

I am still tempted to ring psychic lines, but its like, Hey what do they know....I am living proof that they don't know what they are talking about....Trish her name was gave me "expert" advice, it turned out to be exactly the opposite.....so I am very tempted to ring her back and ask for an explanation....but I am fighting that one as we speak...it comes up every minute of the day....this temptation...so I have to just keep saying NO to it....it is working kind of...

As for the housekeeping....well.....I gotta work on that one....I am house proud but we have so much stuff I don't know where to start cleaning.....but the house is in an orderly direction at the moment.....so yeah....

But again I thank you for your reply...so quickly too.....I am impressed....Thanks Christian Commando....for all your advice.....I now know it is ok to be carnal but also covered by the blood......which is my savings grace by the way......

Will sign off now.....and wish you all the best and God Bless You....from Leah Shenay

What I would do if you is, read about King Saul of David's time. He was a Child of God appointed as Leader, who chose to seek out a witch for info instead of waiting on God for it. Tho he knew God's Word and the warnings, he persisted in seeking the witch. God chastized him, then let Saul go to an early grave for it. The New Test. Apostles do not list King Saul among the Old Test. Leaders of God.

As such, God rejected Saul for that abomination. Thus, it is not just as in Deut. 18:9-14. God also shows in other Scriptures, to do them ourselves or seek after those who do it is an abomination to Him as well and will suffer consequnces for that.

I suggest, do not call any of them back for an explaination, but leave them now forever totally. Don't let yourself be dragged down with them anymore. It should be enough to know they must answer to God as it is for thier abominable practices.

Don't give satan anymore chances to do this with you by intentionally setting yourself up for possibly more influence by him to draw into further deceit. Tho you may have the best of intentions, because you were drawn to it before, it's best to avoid this all together to keep the temptation to do so at it's least level of power over you.

Apparently God has it on your heart about the house keeping, but this is no abomination against God if don't do it. There are many of Christians who are not good house keepers, including myself. We all have our falable points each one must work on. Trust me to know there are always more than one as well.

But, for each one we all must work on improving such lackings, particularly those God has most on our minds. He will usaully work on specific one(s) at a time, taking us thru them all eventually as we grow stronger and closer to Him over time.

God Bless you and yours Leah!!
