The Way of the Word Part II

God Sent His Word To Prosper You
God from the beginning sent His word to prosper mankind. He created the heavens and the earth for mankind. A place for us to dwell, a place of provision for every need and want we might have. He spoke the Word and all creation came into being. The whole purpose of the Word coming into this earth was to prosper you! God sent the Word (Christ) into this realm to that we could be once again be re-connected to Him and all His prosperity. God’s middle name is prosperity! There is none other richer than God. He owns it all!
John 10:10b “I (Word) have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. “NKJV
The Word did not come so you could stay in a position of defeat. The Word didn’t come so you could stay under oppression. The Word came to put you once again in a position of ruling and reigning in life. Do we have obstacles and afflictions that come our way? Absolutely! But in every challenge, every devil that comes our way, if we make a choice to believe the Word, and act on the Word, we will be victorious every time. The Word is packed with power; the Word is packed with Christ the living Word in our hearts. Isaiah 55:10 tells us how the Word prospers us:
Isaiah 55:10-11
"For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

We have already seen that Jesus came or the Word came to give us life, and life more abundantly, therefore we can conclude that the “thing” which God has sent His Word for is us! Glory! God didn’t send His Word out of His mouth to prosper the devil, He sent it for us. Psalms 107:20 says, “He sent His Word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions.” There is that word again… “destructions”. Narrow is the gate-wide is the way that leads to destruction, but if the believer will BELIEVE and act on the Word, God will deliver you out of any and all destruction. It is not an option. He sent His Word to us, to prosper us and deliver us from all destruction.
What word you believe is what word you will get. You reap what you sow. What words you are speaking now will be the words that manifest in your life. What words you are hearing now, will produce in your life. Faith comes by hearing, and faith is the substance or the title deed to what you are believing for. You choose what you let into your path. The path you walk is either the narrow path of the word where there is only ONE way, the way of the Word, or you walk the wide path, where you think you have options. The path that leads to no results in God, and destruction. If a person is listening to a “word” over the pulpit that is preaching “God makes you sick to teach you something”, and people receive that word, that word will produce in their lives. You will see a sick congregation. But if that congregation rejects that word, knowing that is “not the way of the Word”, then that sickly word cannot produce in their lives. Whatever “word” is being released, will produce. Every seed produces after its own kind. (Gen 1:11)
People never cease to amaze me. They understand for the most part God doesn’t make them sick, yet they think they are subject to other things in life. Yet you will hear them say, “I won’t eat that, or do that”, then I ask them why…and they say, “well Dr. So and So said this about that, and its not good for you.” Grant it as it may not be that good for you, but you are not subject to that “word” that was spoken. Unless the doctor says you are healed you are never subject to the doctors report, unless you choose that to be your report. A disciple will choose God’s report! Now that doesn’t mean just because we are not subject to the fact that (for example sake) cholesterol isn’t good for us that we go out and eat a diet full of cholesterol every day! Don’t misinterpret or miss what is being said here. God doesn’t bless stupidity, so we use wisdom in what we put in our bodies. But we do not have to live a life of fear every time a new article comes out on something. An article, a report, a newscast, a radio broadcast…they are all “words”. They are words that will produce in your life if you choose to let them live. The Believer who walks the narrow path, the way of the Word will say “NO” to anything that does not line up with what God says about them.
Now in a congregation where a word of prosperity, health and the goodness of God is being preached, then that word will produce in that congregation. As long as the word is being received and acted upon it will manifest. It is life and death where you get your “Word” from. It is life and death on where you choose to attend the House of God. Choose wisely.
Again, you will reap what you sow. Sowing is action. So if you put faith to the word you are hearing whether it is a word of death or a word of life, it will produce after its own kind. We know in Luke 8:11 that the seed is the Word of God. Every seed produces after its own kind. If you sow a corn seed you are going to get a corn stalk. If you sow a carrot seed you are going to get a carrot. So what kind of seed you allow to be sown into your heart is what seed will produce.
What Are You Going to Purchase?
Isa 55:1-3
"**! Everyone who thirsts,
Come to the waters;
And you who have no money,
Come, buy and eat.
Yes, come, buy wine and milk
Without money and without price.
2 Why do you spend money for what is not bread,
And your wages for what does not satisfy?
Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good,
And let your soul delight itself in abundance.
3 Incline your ear, and come to Me.
Hear, and your soul shall live;

It is clear here in this word that God wants our soul to delight itself in abundance. God is giving us keys on how to access His abundance. That we can purchase or buy from Him. Salvation is free, but accessing the benefits of His Word costs us. What does it cost? It costs faith. It costs us believing His Word and not wavering. Walking the way of the Word, and not allowing any leaven in to leaven the whole lump.
His Word is very clear here that to partake of His goodness and prosperity He has for us we must EAT what is GOOD, and that we must listen or “hear” carefully. So when we are hearing a Word we must determine if it is the pure word of God or if it is polluted. Religion is sly and cunning. Religion will feed you something that “sounds” like the word of God, but it is distorted just enough that it makes the word of no effect, powerless or worse, full of death instead of life. We call those doctrines of devils.
The spirit of religion co-labors with poverty.
Proverbs 11:24b “…And there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty.”
The spirit of religion co-labors with poverty. God has clearly sent His word to prosper us, and provide a life of abundance for us. The devil always kicks against anything of God’s. Religion will spew out enough of the Word of God, slightly twisted, holding back just enough truth that it will keep people in poverty. Poverty meaning people are not experiencing the goodness and manifestation of God in any particular area of their life. So once the spirit of religion preaches a word over the pulpit that has a little leaven in it, (a little leaven, leavens the whole lump) the spirit of poverty takes it from there, and keeps that person in bondage. The spirit of poverty is what makes the distorted word that was ministered manifest in a person’s life if they choose to receive it. The good news is, the person does not have to receive it! They can reject the word and choose the way of the Word of God.
The currency to purchase from God is faith. We buy from God not with money, not with price but faith. God wants to get His goodness and prosperity over to us, but we must walk the way of Word and believe it. If we choose to believe we are going to fail at something, then we just purchased failure with our faith. But if we believe by the Word we are called to success as it says in Joshua 1:8 then we have purchased success from God. If we believe the doctors report that we have cancer, then we just purchased cancer with believing that report with our faith. But if we reject that report, and believe God’s report that He paid the price with His blood and took stripes for us, then we just purchased our healing from God.
Have you ever said to someone, “I don’t buy that”? It is the same concept. When a circumstance that does not line up with what the Word says, then you say to it “I don’t buy that!” and reject that word.
Everything that you are dealing with in your life, right now at this very moment, whether good or bad, whether of God, the devil or yourself is all due to words. Every circumstance you are facing is a “word” that has manifested in your life. You are dealing with words. The only way to deal with words, is to use THE WORD, which is God’s will for your life, and fight the good fight of faith. It is the way of the Word.
